Wow you two are identical to my relationship ! We Met on Filipina Cupid , shes single mom , 6 year old son , she was 33 I was 65 . Met after a few months in person 7.5 years later we still going strong . For me it was a perfect situation . Actually I preferred she did not have a working job 8 t0 8 etc. 6 days a week i was selfish . We formed a corporation which she runs and manages our properties and takes great care of our properties , her son , our condo and me . Your family back home should be supportive unless they are looking and counting the money on what they think is their inheritance. Yes, online dating can be a cesspool. Isn't it better to use a matchmaking agency to help you set up dates with women in real life? You can meet them at a resort or another location over the course of a week or so. This way, the agency can set you up with women who are marriage-minded and actually want that. They would at least help you vet for scammers.

If you want to go to a matchmaking event, be my guest. You will just have to tolerate repeat customers there for only 1 thing. When you make that list and you hear the girl you likes name coming up at the lounge area about how she slept with some repeaters, and they get graphic, sharing pics, etc.. and you cross her off. Guess what? You'll be crossing off your list 1 by 1 until you have bottom of the barrel. That's what happened to my list, and my time there was consumed by who these 4 dudes dated so I could simply cross them off. You will notice how experienced they are at the whole process. For me I was just angry the whole time. The ones I like got ran through, and I was not going to risk putting a ring on the carrier of someone else's child. Edit: if you want to talk about it send me you email and I will reply with my # I live in Phoenix 10 minutes away from that agency. Last I checked they were the only ones doing it

Yep that happens. Did you meet her in person? That’s when the real relationship starts…anything online no matter how much your feelings get involved is just a chatmate relationship, like a penpal. She likely is using it as her main source of income. I can hardly fault these girls if they need the money. It’s better than being a bar girl or an escort. I’ve met a number of escort girls online using face recognition search. I’d try to meet her in person and understand her situation and if she is just bad news or maybe just in a bad spot…and remember there are plenty of other girls to explore once you are boots on the ground.

Very relatable chat. I used Pinalove, filtered through the chaos to find a woman to really connect with. We chatted for about 2 weeks before I decided that we had to meet. I booked a ticket 6 weeks out. With her daughter and sister she picked me up at the airport for a 3 week bonding experience. Best time of my life! So much more than I could have hoped for. I don't think this caliber of woman exists in America. I've been back in the States for a week now. I'm trying to figure out the next steps. I'd like to bring her over. I just wish her tourist visa was easier to get. Seems like a K2 is the only way to go. How do you take your time getting to know somebody when you can't be with them? I’ve been using PinaLove and man so many scams and scammers. I don’t know how many I’ve filtered through 200-300 at least…I think I’ve found the one! My ex wife I met in China online, that was before smart phones, I was lucky my company was doing our manufacturing there so I was able to travel on business. We chatted for 2 months then I flew to Shanghai for our first date. After 10 days I was fully hooked! My next trip I brought a ring and officially proposed after meeting her mother and sister in Chengdu near her hometown. Before that I had met her sister who flew to meet me since she was with her husband on a work assignment here in the US. I travelled as often as I could while we processed the K-1 visa. It took almost a year. We were married here in the US just a year later after I put a ring on her finger. We had 2 amazing boys 14 and 16, but communication and her unhappiness led to our divorce. She wanted a divorce. Now I am dreaming my Filipina can give me two daughters and make my life complete. I want to marry her in the Philippines and see if we can get a tourist visa for her to visit.

That’s been my experience as well… No shortage of very obvious scammers on the apps and the apps with supported video calling seemed to be more trouble than they were worth. One of the huge red flags is when meeting someone online and within a few minutes they’re calling you “honey and or sweetheart” and talking about marriage, it probably won’t take long before you hear of their sick Mom, or electric bill is overdue, etc., etc. These encounters can be somewhat entertaining and I view them as learning experiences. I’ve had much better success with simply approaching women I notice when I’m out. You know what they look like, you get a much quicker feel for their personality, etc., but that’s simply my personal preference… Regardless of what approach one takes, it’s all a process and once a western man has experienced an Asian woman, it’s not likely they’ll go back ! That has certainly been my case having been previously married to a Vietnamese woman who had a hidden gambling problem that eventually destroyed our marriage. I came to the Philippines mainly because English is widely spoken and quickly learned the women here are absolutely amazing in a much gentler way than my previous Asian wife and she was amazing… Good luck gentlemen

My thoughts on having a child in my late 50s… I felt like it would be unfair to the child. It their most hormonal and stressful time in their life (junior high and high school), all they would be worried about is ‘will dad die before I graduate’. Also, as a father, our job in life is literally to procreate, and protect our children. It’s tough to beat down a mean boyfriend or husband when you’re in your 70s and 80s. I lost a potential wife in Thailand due to an ultimatum that she gave me… I don’t do well with ultimatums. She should have just spent some time convincing me. It would have worked out better for her.

I’m sorry to hear that. I spent four months in Mexico the last two years and never had a problem myself, but I ran into several people who had been car jacked and robbed But here in the Philippines. I haven’t met anyone yet who’s had trouble.. I heard from someone who’s been here for 13 years is if you give respect to get respect and for people who get in trouble back home are the people who get in trouble over here ..if you’ve been out drinking and walk around quiet streets at night 2 AM I think trouble will find you.

Sorry, the CP dating site does support video messaging, in the last two weeks I'm lucky if I can even get a woman to agree to regular "chat" feature versus sending messages between each other, my membership only has 50 total messages available per day and those get burned up quickly dealing with scammers. What she says, is true about meeting a guy while he’s in his country and coming to see her. But I tell you this. I would never spend thousands of dollars and take time off from work just to go see one Filipina it’s a Numbers game just like it’s here in the USA. Why put your eggs all in one basket there are too many horror stories of guys going over there just to see one girl I would never ever ever ever ever do that. If she doesn’t turn out to be what you want just think of all that time and money that you wasted, and can never get back. If a Filipina is too fragile to come see you, if you meet her on an app while you were here, she probably wasn’t worth meeting in the first place
