I think the select all of the same unit hotkey in DE is Page-Down by default. So to delete wall pillars: select one pillar, press page-dn , delete, enter.

I tried it and didn't really like pillarless walls though because it takes practice to consistently stretch the wall just enough so that it will create overlapping full sections, and if there are any other walls in your view where you didn't make them pillarless and you accidentally delete those pillars, then those walls may be compromised. Very early for very small areas before you have any other walls it is good to know how to do.

Can you please make a video explaining the right scenarios and civs in which it definitely pays off to invest in an early wall in general? I kind of struggle with that, and I am sure a lot of other casual players do as well.

Boomy civs that have a very strong mid or late game. For example ports, dutch, french or brits. British longbows behind walls are absolutely disgusting.

Someone did this to me and it was so effective. This was a British vs British deathmatch and it was almost impossible for me to penetrate his base. He walled it off, got archers, and set up like 7 outposts. I was able to develop around the whole map but still couldn't finish the job. I got to the last age up and I still couldn't. I had like five barracks going and it was still not enough. It was a crazy match

I rush as dutch and hire native american mercenaries when they are available. The mounted archer mercs were always my favorite. i won a lot of games with just attacking as fast as possible. I used to also be a code S Starcraft player.

Ive got a question unrelated to this video, which I loved btw: For 3 days now, only my losses count to my stats in competetive. Ive played like 17 games past 3 days, with 7 lost in total. Says ive got a -7 losing streak. Still buggy or what? I dont even wanna play ranked anymore because I derank when winning.

Although Age3 is interesting, I think it is too deterministic in its results. Based on player rank you can rightly predict who wins with high reliability. And some few mistakes will already determine significantly if the player has a chance, for example, by failing to do the right HC shipment he has already lost, although his TC is still standing .Too much emphasis on speed and built order imho and too deterministic.

Don't strech out the walls too much, a small bent in the wall also helps the long parts overlap.

The drawback of playing ranked multiplayer on the 20+ level is that speed is all important and it's going to drain your energy and put alot of cognitive load on you. After like 3 matches I have had enough of it.

I feel like you are only able to play reactive as the dutch in the current time. I get rushed every single game. My opponent is making bad trades and mistakes, yet i can never capitalize on that in the first 15min of the game

Thats not a glitch with pillarless walls, it happens with all walls and its been a mechanic since 2005. Its not something new.
