I love it. U tell them it might happen and they still freak out like this. Why might someone experience heat spikes? Do ppl with thinner nails get it more?

Thinner nails are definitely more sensitive to heat spikes. Less between the heat from polymerization and nerves.

First 😁 and what is a brand to get good and not too expensive nail drills that you recommend?
@jasminemack2390
@jasminemack2390 2 жыл бұрын
Personally I’d recommend Melody Susie. The drill that I have is the Sparkle Plus (in green ofc bc they made it a gorgeous shade, but anyway), I got it off Amazon for around $160. And yes I know that’s technically still not cheap, however, the original price was around $200, then there was a coupon that brought the price down to ~$180, and another at checkout that brought it down to ~$160. Considering the fact that super super high quality, long lasting professional nail drills can easily cost more than $1-2k, $160 is nothing. And I’ve used both a super professional drill and very cheap $30 ones that I would never ever recommend anyone get bc from my experience, I spent around +$60 on cheap shitty drills and they never lasted more than 10mins. They’re horrible in every way; super loud, drill bits would get wobbly, heats up like crazy after 30s. And I’m not even exaggerating any of that lol. So Trust. Me. The most inexpensive yet high quality drill would be the Sparkle Plus. It’s been working really great for me! It goes up to 35,000rpms and the motor is super quiet, it doesn’t heat up very much, and the battery life is pretty good and only takes a few hours to fully charge, then I won’t have to charge it again for over a week or so, sometimes longer. I’ve done lots of research into this product and I can say that it’s definitely worth it. There’s also the Sparkle Pro that lots of ppl tend to like as well, I believe it’s a bit more expensive and the performance between the Sparkle Plus and Sparkle Pro are very similar.

When the gel cures, it can cause a searing burning sensation on the nail. It hurts!

Any advice on allergies? I have used the same kit several times and suddenly I got a severe allergy. Cured the gel all the way through btw. Help anyone?
@kckstyles9914

I'd suggest looking into hema-free products. But still keeping any gel products from touching the living tissues is optimal for avoiding allergic breakouts.

If you have an allergy you can’t use that kit anymore. Need to try a different brand or product. If you have an acrylic allergy you won’t be able to get polygel or dip manicures either.
