I've been a child of God all of my life. I was saved at age 10. I love Jesus with all of my heart. I talked to Him all day every day. I've surfers from liver problems. Last year, I had one half of my tongue removed due to cancer. 5 months ago I lost my husband. No insurance. His family stole from me leaving me with nothing but bills. I have never been worried as long as I trust that Jesus will take care if me. And he has. The key is to truly trust and ask.

I used to take trials personally. I thought I didn't deserve them. Turns out i deserve a whole lot worse.
@TheSimpleTruthOne3 ай бұрын
No, you don’t deserve worst. You get what you put in. If you put soda pop in your mouth you get diabetes. If you put cigarettes in your mouth you get lung, nasal and throat cancer. If You put too many donuts in your mouth you get a fat behind. You understand?

I needed this. My friend just drowned three weeks ago and I couldn't help him because he went under when I was swimming out to him and my ex girlfriend just had our baby but I can't see my newborn right now because I committed a crime years ago against one of my kids and I'm gonna have to get permission from the judge to have supervised visits which may or may not be granted. Today a woman I've grown close to over the last four months said terrible things to me and I think she is a Christian but I can't ever see myself marrying her after she said such degrading things to me even though she apologized. This sermon has literally helped me address how I'm dealing with all these things and the right outlook I need to keep moving forward. I'll never forget the first time I read a book by Greg Laurie. I was sitting in county jail. Thank you Greg Laurie for speaking the truth. I'm gonna replay this sermon to make sure I memorize the most important points that I need to apply to my life.

Greg is amazing and I’m so glad his books r in jails and prisons. I can’t imagine what ur going through but just rest in the promise He will not give u more than u can handle. My downfall was drugs. I lost my kids to my dad among other things I went through. I’m now a psych major in dual diagnosis/addiction and I’m also a parent again. Only bc of Jesus. Ur not alone.

Please pray for my daughter Randi….cancer ridden and in her second *emergency surgery* on her back in 3 days. She’s under anesthesia now made of *_ketamine and fentanyl_* . These hard drugs scare me and they messed up on Thursday…didn’t close on the *inside* all the way so she began to leak…now is back in surgery today 😢. She needs a break from pain and sickness. Please and Thank You Pastor Greg. I listen almost everyday…trying to become better, like I used to be. ❤

I feel your pain, but knowing that God didn’t answer my prayers when my family members died from cancer. I highly recommend you prepare for the inevitable. You hyping your expectations of Gods healing your daughter will only make reality so much more difficult to bear on that sad day. May you be strong!

What a perfect time for this sermon. I've been having anger issues and one thing after another has been going wrong. I can't seem to do anything right. I've been thoroughly blessed and trials and temptations have reared their ugly head. I was so angry I proceeded to destroy everything in my wake. I almost completely destroyed my computer and punched a huge dent in my filing cabinet. Thankfully I stopped before I went too far. I realized a lot of my anger is because I'm getting older and can't do the stuff I used to do. My body is failing the tiniest tasks and I'm frustrated. I'm praying my anger will subside and with God's help it will.

I recently started listening the sermon by the elder in S.Korea whose sermon is surely based on the Bible. To your question, what he recommends is to stop thinking about the problem which is how you can set yourself free from the flesh, the power of satan and then enters under Jesus Christ. And have peace and joyfulness in the Holy Sprit. God bless you!

Trials are NOT the same as temptations and should not be lumped together.
@gtrgarrage24225 ай бұрын
Good morning this is the day the lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it. Trials are not the same as temptation, however our faith is being tested with temptations. It is part of the life’s journey that we go through trials in so many ways. Temptation is in association with trials. God bless.

There are NO trials & temptations either from “God” nor “Satan”. Religious charlatans mischaracterize everyday life circumstances as something either holy or evil. It’s neither, but are only part of life. Get an education, Learn to think, and be a good human towards everyone, and you won’t have as many “trials”(failures), nor as many “temptations”(discontentment)…
