In peak function there is gauss,gaussian and laurentz.what is the difference between these?

Jss the function. Search for their function and slight difference between their shape. Lorentz shape is slightly broader.

While doing my deconvolution for FTIR my fit is not converging. How can be this done?

First you should fit ur data in limited selected range. And then try to control your parameters. Sometimes it may not converge but still it is fine..
