When I had my new kitchen fitted I had the fitter add a double plug above the cupboards….for my Christmas Garland… So when designing a room consider….your Christmas plans especially when adding sockets etc…

Love the kitchen decorations. My husband use to have a kitchen cabinet store. My job was to decorate each one for the Holidays. I tried matching the decorations with the style of the kitchen. For the old fashion looking one I made my own garland by putting wooden spoons. Spatulas, cookie cutters etc... what fun it was.

I started decorating my bedroom for Christmas last year and it was the best decision I made all year. I was in such a mood with COVID nonsense last year that I wanted and needed extra color and lights in my life so now my bedroom gets top priority for Christmas and I love it!

I lived opposite the Bon Marché in Paris and each year would buy a lot of really really expensive decorations for my mum. She has managed to break them all over the years ! Now I buy her plastic and keep the nice ones for myself. I got some this spring in the Chelsea Gardener for a fraction of the price ! All glass and so pretty, moral = best time to buy them is when it's NOT xmas! It doesn't work for chocolate easter eggs in the autumn, they just don't seem to keep !!!!
