How to Decorate Pumpkin Sugar Cookies

Oh no! I’m so sorry you were having trouble! Yes, if the color mixing videos don’t help lead you in the right direction for a shade you need, just shout! Just FYI: to achieve the cranberry in this video, I would add a little more purple (and maybe red if needed) to the maroon I show you in the “Mixing Dark Colors” video. I hope this helps! 😊

Thank you! The base is super red with some burgundy and eggplant added in to the mix! I add corn syrup to my icing which helps with the shine, but doesn’t make it incredibly shiny. 😊 Honestly, it might be because it was still a bit wet. However, I think adding the texture to the pumpkin gave it an extra kick for sure! 😊

Yikes, I’d have think on that one! I know many have successfully created sugar free options but, personally, I have t tested any out just yet!

How Long does it Take until it is completely dry?

There are several different factors that can affect the drying process such as climate in your area, etc, but I usually leave my flooded cookies out over night to dry. 😊 The icing acts as a blanket to keep the cookie from drying out, so it’ll be just fine under the air circulation as it dries.
