How to Paint on a Cookie using Royal Icing

Did you know that you can paint directly on a cookie with royal icing itself? Watercoloring with diluted gel food colors is great, but it can eat away at your base layer if too much liquid gets on the cookie. Painting with royal icing is a wonderful alternative, AND your icing colors are likely already mixed. YEAH! Check out this video for some pointers on painting with royal icing. I hope you enjoy it!
