In my opinion, Kakashi and Sakura didn't take up the mantle because of their relationship to Sasuke. In the eyes of everyone Sasuke has betrayed the village for a second time. Sakura is his wife, which isn't a good look. And Kakashi said he would take responsibility for Sasuke after the war.

The strongest in the Lead has been Kawaki, so... Does that mean that Kawaki should be the Hokage? NO. Kakashi probably didn't take it because of the fact that he didn't want to be Hokage again. The perfect candidate is Shikamaru, as the smartest in the Leaf and the one with most experience (excluding Kakashi).

Sarada was heartbroken and directly told Shikamaru that she would never idolize him as a "Hokage" and that her hero is "Lord Seventh". I hope you know where it's going. To be the leader, one must respect and follow the leader no matter how idealistic or symbolic they can be. Naruto is really the most suitable Hokage in my eyes because he always had an aspiration and a dream to become one. He became Hokage from an utter rubbish childhood where everyone thought of him as a nuisance except a few. Shikamaru could be the best Hokage when it comes to applying "the best chess moves". He's smart asf. You can't deny that, but no one would perhaps follow the man as much as Naruto. Also the fact that Naruto himself had the wish to become a Hokage while Shikamaru had become one only because there were no other choices or options left. He never truly planned to become one but there were literally no other options. He's pretty much like Kakashi but probably more capable.

The Hokage position being passed on to relatives or students of past Hokage was never really a result of nepotism. People tend to incorrectly assume that anytime a friend or family member of a leader is also given a position of power that it is nepotism. The actual meaning of nepotism is a leader appointing a friend or family member to power without merit, which does not really describe any of the Hokage. All of the Hokage were incredibly powerful ninja/kunoichi, most of whom were the most powerful ninja in Konoha regardless of their family ties or sensei

Yea, I believe people fail to realize that while nepotism does exist, people born into powerful families have inherent advantages over people who aren’t. They have the genetic advantage of a strong bloodline. They have access to hidden Justus. Or they may go to the best school because their families could afford it. The truth why toneri looks like Otsutsuki and was considered part of the Otsutsuki clan was because Hamura married a full blooded Otsutsuki. Kishimoto loves Folktales and based characters like Urashiki (Urashima taro) Momoshiki (Momo taro). So the folktale is about two twin demigods (Hamura and Hagoromo) one married the daughter of one of the dragon king (based on Urashiki dragon palace jutsu which toneri is in and could be the dragon king palace), one of the two daughters of dragon king ran away from dragon king and met hamura using the time Space turtle (Urashiki used) but then divorced and So she went back to her homeland (Otsutsuki world) and the other walks on Earth. So possibly a Otsutsuki female who is Hamura Ex Sister in law is walking around.

I think there's a possibility that Kakashi also went "rogue." He could've possibly went after Sasuke to confront him after feeling betrayed from his actions but after confronting him (remember, he's one of the best trackers in the series) he was convinced by Sasuke that he's doing the right thing, even if Kakashi believes Boruto killed Naruto. It's possible that they had a small squirmish in which Sasuke turned on his sharingan and genjutsu'd Kakashi into believing that Sasuke and Boruto are doing the correct thing so Kakashi either joined Boruto and Sasuke OR he went back to the village, told them he didn't come across them and is possibly Sarada's sensei and is working with Sarada and Sumire behind the scenes. That would be another very intelligent and powerful ally for Boruto and would fit perfectly in being Sarada's sensei.

that's an interesting theory, It's possible that Kakashi had a confrontation with Sasuke and was convinced by his actions. Whether he joined Boruto and Sasuke or continued working behind the scenes with Sarada and Sumire, having Kakashi as a powerful ally would definitely benefit Boruto's team. It would also make sense for him to be Sarada's sensei.

Coming off of your discussion about Kakashi and his whereabouts, I believe I have a theory on what he’s doing. I think Kakashi didn’t take up the mantle of returning as Hokage due to training Sarada. I believe Sasuke may have contacted Kakashi and informed him on what Eida had done, and Kakashi would probably believe him as up until that point, Sasuke had been the shadow hokage and lead intel gatherer. Kakashi also believed in Sasuke doing the right thing as he released him from prison. Due to this, I think Sasuke has been in constant communication with Kakashi to keep him informed on what they are doing, where they are going, giving updated on Boruto and Momoshiki, and inform him on when they would be arriving back to the Leaf. Additionally, Sarada just awoke her MS right before Sasuke left the village, and never had a chance to teach her anything about the MS. So Sasuke would likely ask Kakashi, the only other person in the world that had an MS, to train her and develop her skills. Lastly, Sarada constantly tells how she wants to be like Naruto, including telling that to Shikimaru directly. Kakashi trained Naruto, especially the wind style rasengan, while also creating the chidori (who taught it to Sasuke who then taught Sarada). All of that said, Sarada will follow Naruto’s path of training under Kakashi to likely develop her own powerful custom jutsu and learn more about her MS.

Eida only knows that her omnipotence didn't effect them however you like most people are forgetting eidas other doujutsu ability that makes everyone love her which she doesn't know they aren't being effected by. Plot twist, the original villain of the Naruto story (orochimaru) is actually Shibi O’s partner. That’s why he’s the only shinobi that favors an O. He was less talented or affected by a shinjutsu which is why his goal is to learn all jutsu to regain his power but needs mitzki to grow strong enough to do it, he hides that he is an O bc he’s a snake sage that constantly uses to keep his eyes in the form they are😂😂😂😂😂 long ball and straight off the dome watching this video.

I can't say I agree with the concept that Hima is somehow resistant to Omnipotence like you said. In the chapter; she specifically calls out the time that "Boruto" scarified his arm to save her and Naruto from Deltas attack. I don't see that as her doubting her memories. Rather since she is the only person alive that has intimate knowledge of what "Boruto" was like before the death of the Hokage; she's taken in her fathers footsteps in believing that there is still good in the person that everybody else perceives as Public Enemy No.1. If more of the anime-only arcs were integrated into the story; Kae from the Kawa-Hima School arc might, in theory, also have these thoughts. They are the two people outside of Naruto and Boruto that actually managed to get close to Kawaki on a personal level, truly see the side of him that is kind and caring. So it makes perfect sense that had the switch not taken place; Hima would be saying the exact same things about Kawaki as she is about Boruto when now that her past has been reversed.

Agreed, she clearly was close to Kawaki and saw him as family and she is also Narutos daughter and he forgave his parents killers twice over (Kurama and Obito) Her memory was switched obviously but she also believes in the good of people and saw Kawaki as family so she will believe that "boruto" wouldn't kill her parents and would give him the benefit of the doubt

Sarada technically has super diluted Otsutsuki bloodline, sharingan and all. Sasuke showed resistance to the shinjutsu as well. Surime is a mystery, but Himowari e en shows signs of minor interference with the shinjutsu. Wonder if its more obvious than we think?

It's definitely simpler than people think and goes perfectly with the underlying idea or ninja way in boruto. They aren't affected by eidas abilities due to both of them loving boruto intimately this I think becomes evident when sarada begging and pleading to sauske to protect boruto and her intense love unlocking her mongekyo which was so profound to sauske he literally chose not to believe his own memories. This, I think, is the ninja way that's shaped the boruto story. Where hate created the Naruto world, love has been creating the boruto world. This was narutos' true victory at the end of shippuden he changed sauskes hate in to love. Also, sarada does not have any otsuski DNA naruto and sauske we granted power temporarily by sage of six paths this didn't change their DNA at all. In boruto we are told that the karma seal slowly alters the hosts DNA into otsuski DNA so they can be resurrected

Their is no record of them having children. Hogoromo created the basis for ninshu and taught people how to utilize and manifest chakara which created all Jutsu and its different types. The Uchiha unlocked the sharingan due to them having special optical nerves in their brain that would unlock to release this ability.

The Ototsuki resistance doesn't really make sense because they pointed out those who are more directly affected by omnipotence has a resistance to it. That's why Kawaki and Boruto are resistant because they are directly effect by it, and those closes to them have lesser resistance.

@@leonoson Dont over think it, the previous comment said it's similar like her natural innate omnipotence. Real life genetics is way more complicated than 50/50 parents genes given that both parents originated from Ototsuki genes. Real life genetics, ~1-2 % difference in genes since there is a 1,000 year difference. Dogs have more potential genetic diversity than people do and that's a difference of way less than 1%.

idk why but whenever Mitsuki says boruto is his sun, Toneri`s picture comes on my mind. maybe Orochimaru did use a bit of Toneri`s dna to create Mitsuki. like superboy, who has both superman and Luthor`s dna. maybe Orochimaru didn`t use Toneri`s genome but some specific genes to create Mitsuki, so he did not acquire the otsutsuki level ablities or shinjutsu-this would clarify why Mitsuki has sage mode, or Orochimaru has a younger body now (i believe it`s not Hashirama`s cell/ white zetsu's body). maybe this is why he was able to cultivate Shin`s sharingaan and helped Naruto to get a new arm as well. i mean Toneri`s genome is way superior to Hashirama's cell so why not using it? also, Naruto is pseudo-otsutsuki in my opinion because he had all the beeju inside of him (all 9 chakra) as well as received sage of six path`s ability. maybe this is why Naruto was able to get the new arm and it suited him but Sasuke didn`t want it partially due to the nature of the cells as well as a battle-scar/ reminder from his brother cum best friend. i could be gravely wrong because i didn`t have the free time to read mangas, an anime only person. so correct my speculation based on the facts.

With the Mitsuki being part Toneri theory. I think he could possibly have the white skin and blue hair, whilst being a clone of orochimaru, because orochimaru has a body of a white zetsu ( i could be misremembering cause i havent watched naruto in a while) this would not only mean that his body is strong enough for sage mode but also mean that his skin would be a very pale white. Doesn't sound as exciting as being part toneri tho lol

Keep in mind that lord 3rd volunteered himself to take over the responsibility again after lord 4th death when Danzo was planning on jumping in to be hokage. Kakashi probably didn’t (I assume) and plus putting him as kage again would just feel like a repeat of Naruto series. Shikamaru was the perfect choice cause it was out of nowhere and different, it’s almost like the symbol of a new direction with the show
