Belphemon is another deck that does really well against rapid utilizing sec atk plus and wiping all lvl 5 and below!

There are cards like Awakening of the Golden Knight and MetalGreymon X that prevent dp reduction. And also Machinedramon, like you mentioned in the end.

Basically you need bounce or dp minus. Them being able to just slame a level 5 with omniprotection and threaten the ace is filth. But the real cracked card is the st17 rapidmon lvl for. It dp -4000 on a mon AND the security whenever it suspends. Its filth

Hey! Fellow Terrier enjoyer here, let me start with great video and discussion :) I would say the worst match ups are: 1. Numemon 2. Leomon 3. Anything with Dedigivolve/DP minus. Red Hybrid is surprisingly pretty even I think. At my recent regional I faced 2 Red Hybrid and won thanks to the Ace just being so oppressive against a deck that needs to be aggro. Level 5 Rapidmon wins Red/Purple Match ups thanks to the protection.

Red Hybrid has a losing match up against MegaGargomon/Rapidmon deck atm. And when they get bt17 support thing will get worse.a The lvl 5 force you to delay your EmperorGreymon one turn. The MegaGargo freeze your tamers so you almost need to save 1 on hand to play it and warp into EmperorGreymon so you dont lose the next turn. You almost need to draw the perfect hand to be fast enough to win before Rapidmons deck set up a defense strong enough to stop you.

Im currently playing D-Brigade but this deck counters mine really hard, I guess ill try the death x mon or Quartzmon, just that is a bit over my budger xD

As a former Hunters player, WarGreymon wrecked the deck badly. Once WarGreymon is active, Hades Force was practically gg. It wipes out most of the tamers and resets the Hunters player's momentum.

I think tyrant and magna x destroy rapid. And int esting I beat mirage gaogamon really easy with rapid
