For Greymon’s knowledge evolution, there is actually one ultimate level Digimon that combines dragon/dinosaur elements with insect elements: Dinobeemon. Yes, it’s heavily associated with Digimon 02 and is also usually considered a fusion but it just works so perfectly for this scenario and then you can have it digivolve to Grankuwagamon or Grandiskuwagamon for the mega

Yeah it could work but... not nearly as well as you think. The fact that it's usually considered a fusion is because it LOOKS like a typical fusion. Like you can obviously see the Stingmon and ExVeemon features in the whole thing so it doesn't really work all that well as an ultimate from Greymon. Maybe a Courage ultimate for Kabuterimon as he does have his exoskeleton change color, but for Greymon it just doesn't fit as easily. Plus he's trying to keep the dragon elements of Greymon even in the Megas, so GranKuwagamon and GrandisKuwagamon wouldn't work as they're a full bug and humanoid bug respectively. No dragon or dinosaur elements to speak of.

@@caiusdrakegaming8087 Well in the BT-16 set of the card game, there is a new Dinobeemon card which is meant to digivolve into Imperialdramon black, so that would be good for a dragon like mega. Of course, this does unfortunately mean giving up on the bug elements. Alternatively, Tyrantkabuterimon could also work as a mega, even though it’s just a bug, its head definitely looks kinda like the head of a dragon or dinosaur of some kind.

1. This is so much fun! This concept is so interesting! I can’t wait to see more of this! 2. This also opens up the possibility of more cross season swaps! Like Growlmon evolving with each crest and such! That could be fun! 3. I think that Regalacusmon could be a great Mega for that Reliability line. The body type is closer to WarGreymon, it still has Draconic/Dinosaur elements in the same way MegaSeadramon does, and it doesn’t have that more metallic element that isn’t present in the Gomamon line. For that last part it could be argued that Submarimon adds the metallic element, but I think Regalacusmon is cool for how it leans more towards Plesiomon

I've been thinking about the Zodiac themed Digimon on and off for a while now. And this technically does tie into the video's content, seeing as Saggitariusmon is a thing. The Digimon based on the Chinese Zodiac (which actually does have some cultural variants) are called the Devas and are tied to the Sovereigns; and I think it could be interesting to see some of those cultural variants turned into Alternate/Backup Devas in a future video. Though, admittedly, Karn and crew would have to sift through a lot of material to get to the sources they need. I can provide a jumping off point for that; the Year of the Rabbit is actually the Year of the Cat in Vietnam, and the Year of the Dragon (which we are currently in) is actually the Year of the Naga in Thailand; I've heard the Tiger be alternated with a Lion but I'm not sure where that distinction ties into culturally (presumably some part of China), but I don't really know about the rest of the Zodiac in that regard. As for the Greek Zodiac, we already have Saggitariusmon, who has shown up in a few places since he was introduced into the franchise. But the rest of the Greek Zodiac is still absent, we don't even have name for what a group based on them would be called to give us some idea of a direction. Although, presumably, given the Greek Zodiac is a thing, and the Elysium server of the Digital world is also presumably Greek themed, chances are they would be there and tied the Olympus 12, much like how the Devas are tied to the Sovereigns. But still leaves a few questions. Most notably? What would the group be called? What would the rest of the Greek Zodiac themed Digimon be like? Who would they predominantly serve? And of course, how would their theming tie into who it is that they serve?

I like RiseGreymon as a pre-evo for BlitzGreymon. They don't really embody the crest of knowledge all that well, but they do feel like a really good stepping stone between Greymon and BlitzGreymon.

Oooh, a Greymon to Cryspaledramon evo scene could be really cool. The blue of his stripes expanding to cover his body in blue data that solidifies into ice and then explodes to reveal the new form! Also, Toropiamon to Bloomlordmon would be a fun MetalGrey to WarGrey parallel. ETA: More IDEAS! Okay, so sorry for the re-comment but I've been thinking of things! Love: the ultimate could be your old fave Butenmon; their attacks all reference the sun, which fits both the fire element of love AND Greymon generally, but repacked into birds. The mega, I'm not sure...Zhuqiaomon would be kinda fun! The Butenmon armor could form that jet pack thing on their back. Plus, we'd have LITERAL evolution that way lol: dinosaurs into birds! Kinda cute. Reliability: Marinchimairamon to Regalecusmon looks kinda villainous, but would could work well, imho. Although, while we're using villains, MarinChimairamon to Leviamon could be pretty sweet too. Opposite the usual Greymon megas, which tend to get smaller, Reliability's megas tend to be huge. Hmm, maybe Leviamon after all because I can see a world where Regalecusmon is a TENTOmon Reliability mega (maybe from Anomalocarimon?) Knowledge: You know, I don't hate Cannonbeemon for this, but I kinda think Forgebeemon would be the perfect, well, perfect for a Knowledge Greymon. It looks like an insectoid MetalGreymon, honestly, but it's an adult! But CannonBee fulfils the same thing and is the correct level. Hope: I'm so tempted to say ArkhaiAngemon, but honestly that fits better as an Angemon Courage evo. But what about AeroVdra? He's a Holy Dragon Type, and could also evolve into Dynasmon. Or Qinglongmon maybe? He did create the crests of light and hope so it feels apropos to me for that to be the mega of one or the other. Speaking of ... Light: Okay, the mega has to be ShineGreymon if it isn't Qinglong, right? CanoWeissmon could work as the ultimate, but other than that I have no ideas for level five lol. Also, Vespamon to Tigervespamon could be a great Light line for Kabuterimon!

Greymon ending up as VictoryGreymon sounds like something that they would do in the continuity. Like Kairi sees Greymon dark digivolve to Skull Greymon due to Tai just losing courage in himself and giving up, and she wants to help her brother. And with this her crest flies to Tai, and bathes him and Skull Greymon in Light. With this Light, Skull Greymon digivolves to Victory Greymon and conqueres the darkness that they are battling.

Ahh yes, the iconic qualities of the crest of Love; fire, passion, skies, freedom, and _the military._ Jokes aside, I do particularly love the Sincerity choice, Toropiamon is such a GREAT Greymon evolution, and I am so inclined to love the Light picks you made because I love armored Digimon and knight Digimon and all that stuff, so Maildramon is a pretty cool Digimon to me and I _looooove_ VictoryGreymon and wish we saw him more, and I think Maildramon is a great Ultimate for him. Definitely something to think about, and I look forward to seeing future videos in this series (and for you to somehow find an excuse to put Plesiomon into one of Gomamon's lines, as is your wont)!

This is honestly a very fun idea! Really hope you´ll tackle this idea for at least the other partner Digimon/ Crests of the Adventure series. Very fun :D I definitely like essentially all your choices, the Crest of Love being especially a creative pick, but I find it very odd that Brachiomon has not even been considered for the Crest of Reliability. It´s a big orange Dinosaur Digimon which is heavily connected to water/ swamps and is even the same category as Plesiomon in the reference book, but it still works in my opinion for your GigaSeadramon choice. Still, can´t really complain about MegaSeadramon getting a spotlight :) Additionally, while VictoryGreymon is an inspired choice for the Crest of Light, ShineGreymon works very well here as well, since it is a Greymon mega that´s considered a "Light Dragon". Still a very fun connection with Maildramon, that is a very creative choice. Can´t wait to see your picks for the other champions, there are definitely some potentially very funky conncetions to be made, so I can´t wait to see what you suggest in the future of this mini-series :D

Yeah, I immediately thought of Toropiamon. Perhaps the single best choice out there. (And I like going into Gaiomon from there). And I think getting to BlitzGreymon through Knowledge could focus on the high tech side of things (and you know, it takes knowledge to engineer weaponry). I *was* going to vote for Alterous Mode to get there - but let me pitch an alternative: Cyberdramon. The colors feel like a nice mix of the two AtlurKabuterimon colors. But also - I just learned about Cyberdramon X-Antibody - look at that weird guy. *That* is a perfect way to get a bit of bug (or alien) into a Greymon family for Knowledge, and still lead into BlitzGreymon.

This concept has so much potential! I really like all of your choices, but wanted to provide an alternative for the Knowledge level 5 since you seemed most unsure about that one. What I propose for the Knowledge flavored Greyson ultimate, is to use Triceromon. It’s had ties to both Fire and Earth, and I seem to remember them being particularly good at grounding out and withstanding Electricity really well. They also have had a Vermilion Red variant before that could after absorbing or taking a lot of electrical hits potentially trigger the evolution to Blitzgreymon.

I think maybe for the Sincerity Crest, the WarGreymon variant could be an alternative Mega in a similar way to BlitzGreymon. That way you get your cake and eat it too. Though keeping BlitzGreymon for the Crest of Knowledge sounds genius. All in all, the choices here are pretty cool, even if I don't know most of them well. Great video!

I love the idea as a beat in the story where the adventure cast would trade crests to help them out in certain situations. I feel like a should explain, aegisdramon for friendship because the horn makes me think of Raidramon's horn and like its a boat/ship that give rides to friends. wingdramon and slayerdramon feel like good wing guardian evolutions for greymon triceramon and dinorexmon give jungle dinosaur vibes to me brachiomon and cannodramon are like very water dinosaur vibe and then shine greymon because its a light greymon evolution line. I completely agree with your hope line and couldn't think of anything better

I've always wondered about that concept, and those lines would fit Taichi's Greaymon very well, but I wonderedhow wouldthat be like, using the "Greymon family" extended as well. Great content.

So I definitely dig this. Also one thing that came to mind that you may or may not have thought if in relationship to VictoryGreymon albeit not related to the theme this video is a Victory Greymon and ZeedGarurumon Omnimon, that rather than going the route we may think if, maybe giving it a Gunblade esque weapon rathwr than the sword and cannon arms and pulling in more elements of their halfs like 02 DNA's do but with SOME of that omnimon flare still. Just a thoughts for potential future custom art video.

This actually brings to mind an idea I had for a digimon gimick like this. Using someone elses [insert season's gimick evolution item] lets you access a different Ultimate level, but you can only access your own one's Mega.
