Juan, yes it will. Obviously, lots of factors come into play but in general anytime someone locks around your neck, you better react quick!

How do you defend a standing arm in guillotine?

You cannot finish anyone with that in standing,it doesn't work

I like that technique. the guard to the guillotine in their full guard is similar. I have been immediately going to the take down, give them guard, which they're more than happy to take, wrap arm behind his neck, radius bone up, and stack. the other hand his pulling the cooking arm off. they lose leverage and you begin choking them while they're barely effecting you.

Trillo Academy what about the part where you said something like grab their leg and toss them over (the response if they are leaning on you instead of posturing upward)

Just look up Guillotine chokes. Ok take care
