Man i really hate walling, but I have lost so many games just for being lazy or to cocky, while my opponent was walling up slowly but steadily... definitely a thing that needs to be mastered in order to go above 1100 elo

We need a guide for actual Begginers.... :( you talk about "strategies", build orders you don't talk about how to actually defend, for example how to quickly wall your villagers in case of emergency when raided and things like that

Hey man. Thanks for the comment. I do talk about quick walling in the video. To quick wall you need to hit the hotkeys (mine is s,s). Quick walls are Normally an intermediate level thing though rather than beginner. I cover unit counters a little bit and spearmen positioning etc. Not sure what else you’d have liked to have seen. I’d definitely recommend learning hotkeys and build orders for all beginners because just having a set strategy and knowing where to place villagers, and doing it quickly with hotkeys, is a great way of being able to get an army to defend with

One thing i still dont get it what I am doing wrong. I cant beat Vietnamese AI on extreme as any civ. Tried Militia as Goths, Scout rush as franks.... the only tactic i have ever won with is rushing knights as franks but i cant win any fight vs Vietnam before i can build knights and castles.

Nice video 👍🏻. As a fairly new player, what are the best units to create for defence between the castle and imperial age? I can get to castle age in 18-20 minutes but then a load of cavalry and battering rams arrive and wipe me out 😂.

Thanks mate. It depends on what the enemy army is creating. Vs cav and rams, you need pikes and/or camels

@@MorleyGames1 I do use some but I'm not advanced enough to know them all. I use QQ for a house and QA for a farm etc but that's about it. The ones I use are mostly for buildings.

Not sure, probably your own pikes and onagers backed up with arbs. The range of the arbs should pick off the onagers easily enough
