I was almost becoming an agnostic to an atheist last month but after reading God's word and prayer with supplication with the help of Dr. Frank turek's ministry, God again has given me chance to live with him. Thank you Jesus. Update: I am an agnostic. After I found out about the books and scientific studies with more accurate resolution, I came up with my view on God's existence to be uncertain.

@@Only1Christ Hallelujah! God is great with each and everyone of us. I love studying anything I find interesting since when I was a child. When I was 11 I have my consciousness that there's God and from that young age I begun to "commit" my life to Christ without knowing if I really got saved. I learned science and last month I have learned the basic of physics most specifically its brach, the astrophysics. It was my first time to be confused of what should I believe in because I'm a kind of person that can not trust anything without a proof so I can barely have a faith in God. That time, I simply search for something amazing and Mysterious that regards God and there's one. The big bang. I know from what scripture tells, "INTHE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH." GEN. 1 and when I realized, if the Big Bang was true then it should make sense when God created it because his light. In astrophysics they state that about billions of years ago, there was super heat substance that really shines, then it produced the first two elements called hydrogen and helium. I believe in God at that time caused the Big bang, but you know, form what I really noticed... I begun to be confused I was thinking of about Dimensions so yeah to make the long story short I was terrified of not believing who created me and you because I already know about hell. Last month I wrote a journal quoted, "Maybe God's not real." And I came to cross examined because I was searching the mystery of the universe if there's an alien or something. And I saw Frank Turek, Note... I knew frank truke half a year ago and he is for me the best apologist TODAY. Thank God he has rescued me through the this wise man. We are created by God all equally and the same, I thanked him for the knowledge he has given us and wisdom to use such a knowledge. God bless.

@@mj7199 what exactly was the proof that Christianity brought to you?
@mrtrikxx3 жыл бұрын
@@easypimpin123 Not to jack her moment of providing proof but I’ll shoot you a response. For starters we have to clarify what you see as proof. Is it empirical scientific evidence? If it is, you wont find it. This would make the Bible a lie and nullify God’s need for faith. Science itself is more of string of conclusions derived from truths that it deems truths based on consistency. Its more accurate to say it concludes things “beyond a reasonable doubt”. Although Science itself is not possible without something holding the universe to consistency instead of chaos. This is why the first scientists themselves were Christian. “If God exists then there should be consistencies” - then they found that to be true, further confirming their faith. With that knocked out of the way, we can go onto the proof we do in fact have. I’ll go through it vaguely and wont be arguing them but will give room (in good faith) for your own further research. 1. The historical accuracy of the Bible. 2. The impossibility of 40 authors, throughout 1,500 years, and across 3 different continents coming up with a religion so perfect. 3. The impossibility of those same authors being extremely consistent in their ideas being the time, location, and intellectual constraints 3. Those same authors coming up with prophecies that went on to be fulfilled 4. The existence of Jesus Christ 5. His death, burial, and resurrection (there are written accounts of seeing Christ after his death outside of the Bible and His followers) 6. Logical proof (Cause & Effect, The Designer, Life from non-life, Consciousness,Etc) 7. The psychological need for a God (Forbidden Experiment, Need for Narratives, Power of Belief) 8. The need for a God for Morality to exist 9. Without God, Your senses cannot be trusted (ie. You cannot prove you are real or actually exist, You could be in a simulation, Solipsism) 10. The countless miracles you still see today being done by Christians through Christ 11. The artifacts and archaeological discoveries proving events/people only the Bible spoke about actually exist/happened 12. Subjective Proof only you can attest to (An experience with God that you will personally have when whole heartedly opening to Him) 13. The Holy Spirit (Read The Bible with an open heart and pray to God in Jesus’ name and ask Him to touch your heart) 14. The unique gifts each Human has (You can pull a child from a tribe in the amazon and pop him into western civilization and he will go on to flourish and develop just as if he were here all along - You cannot do this with animals no matter how intelligent they are) 15. Without God, there is no reconciliation for the innate suffering of the world (A car can have rust and still be a good car, but without the car theres no rust. There is pain and suffering, without Goodness and a narrative this is not possible. Duality exists.) Okay. So I know that at first glance you may have rebuttals and counter arguments to many of these - GOOD. Follow the argument wherever it leads. I do not look for God in the world, its through God that I can see the world. Without God, this is all illogical. I’d have to be a fool to trust the mechanisms of how things work and stop there and say thats all it is. Knowing how some things work doesn’t mean you’ll know how all things work, nor does it mean you can know how certain things work. Knowing how, doesn’t explain why and thats exactly the difference between us & the alternate reality of us just being bags of intelligent, sentient meat. We can ask why on the meta level. Thats exactly what you’d expect of a world/people where God exists. See, all of these proofs are only proofs because Jesus was in fact resurrected. Once you’ve seen the evidence for that fact, you simply cannot remain an atheist without going mad. You have to deny and suppress so much of reality. Its wild, I know, but its the truth. I sincerely hope you do the digging and do follow the argument wherever it leads. Just know this “If one wishes to escape the risk of belief, it is as if one wanted to know with certainty that he can swim before going into the water”.

If anyone worships or follows the Gregorian calendar, then they have already been deceived to worship the IMAGE OF THE BEAST, because it is based on the roman pagan julian calendar and Rome was the 4th BEAST that Daniel warned about, who would think to change Gods RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS AND LAWS (Dan 7:25). According to the Bible, BUYING & SELLING SHOULD NOT OCCUR ON SABBATHS OR ANY HOLY DAY (Neh 10:31). So TIME must be reckoned by Gods calendar of Gen (1:14), not the roman julian nor the papal gregorian calendar, if they want to avoid offending God by BUYING & SELLING WHEN THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO. If anyone BUYS OR SELLS ON ANY HOLY DAY, then they offend God, they GRIEVE & QUENCH the Holy Spirit - and are left with the MARK OF THE BEAST. (Holy Spirit is only given to those who OBEY GODS COMMANDMENTS (John 14:15) so it's the the Seal of God and is Gods mark in our HANDS & FOREHEAD as per Deut 6:6-9) Before the Julius Caesar calendar (63BC), the romans had an 8 day week and a 10 month year, so why on earth would anyone follow any IMAGE OF THE BEAST? Gods calendar must clearly have New Moon Days, 6 working days, and Sabbath Days as mentioned in (Eze 46:1). Where are the New Moon Days on the julian or gregorian calendar? So how can we be members of the body of Christ, is we aren't casting these shadows by observing Gods New Moon Days, Sabbaths Days and Feast Days, according to Gods calendar? Colossians 2:16 Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ. Eph 5:30 For we are members of His body. Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each of you is a member of it. Leviticus 23:2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them, 'These are MY APPOINTED FEASTS, the feasts of the LORD that you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. 1 Chronicles @ Whenever burnt offerings were presented to the LORD on the SABBATHS, NEW MOONS, and APPOINTED FEASTS, they were to serve regularly before the LORD in the numbers prescribed for them. 2 Chronicles 31:3 The king contributed from his own possessions for the regular morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the SABBATHS, NEW MOONS, AND APPOINTED FEASTS, as written in the Law of the LORD. Nehemiah 10:33 for the showbread, for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings, for the SABBATH offerings, for the NEW MOONS and APPOINTED FEASTS, for the holy offerings, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the duties of the house of our God.
@--47293 жыл бұрын
@@delawarecop Sir I recognize that you know a great deal about the Bible. My question is didn’t burnt offerings go away after the Cruxifixction? Isn’t Jesus Christ our sacrifice for sins so therefore burnt offerings are not needed?
@delawarecop3 жыл бұрын
@@--4729 - Yes, I perceive that you are wise beyond your years, and it is true that sacrifice and oblation have ceased. And that's exactly how Jesus fulfilled all the requirements of the law. The Law itself was not done away with, but the requirements of actual blood sacrifice and then sprinkling of blood, the Temple, Holy Place, the Most Holy Place, the High Priest, etc... all of the sacrifice and oblation ceases to exist. However, the days themselves are from time immemorial and to be a memorial for all time, because Jesus is the Lamb of God that was slain from before the foundation of the earth. So despite Jesus being the lamb of God sacrifice, He still had to eat that lamb roasted whole every year, He had to eat the unleavened bread despite Him being the unleavened bread that came down from heaven, and He had to partake of the firstfruits offering, despite Him being the Firstfruits of those who rose from the dead. The book of Zechariah states that even after Judgement Day, all the inhabitants of the earth will still gather to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets. Isaiah states that we will gather on New Moon Days and Sabbaths to worship our Creator. That's why before He ascended into heaven, Jesus also warned all of His followers to remain in Jerusalem (a few days henceforth) and patiently wait for the promised Holy Spirit to be poured out on the day after the 7th Sabbath since His resurrection. Now if those disciples had not kept observing Gods Holy Days, then they would not have observed the day of Pentecost, and would have set an example of disobedience, and they would not have received the promised Holy Spirit. It's why many years later paul records in scripture Acts 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I MUST BY ALL MEANS KEEP THIS FEAST WHICH COMETH in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. Paul, being led by the Holy Spirit was COMPELLED TO KEEP THE FEAST BY ALL MEANS. Later in Hebrews 4 we read that the rests that God has appointed MUST BE KEPT otherwise we set an example of DISOBEDIENCE. We also read that believers were NOT TO TAKE UP OFFERING ON SABBATHS when paul came to preach, but to instead take up offerings on the FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK. Because paul knew that dealing with money on Gods Holy Days was what led the pharisees into allowing business on Gods Holy Days, when Nehemiah had already corrected Israel previously for PROFANING GODS SABBATHS (Neh 13:15-22) Jesus Himself set the exact same example in Mat 21:12 when He cats out of the Temple, all who BOUGHT & SOLD, because as we previously learned in Neh 10:31 BUYING & SELLING ON ANY HOLY DAY IS FORBIDDEN. So this precept of BUYING & SELLING is fundamental to comprehension of Rev 13:16 And it CAUSES all the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the servants, that it should give them a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and that no one should be able to buy or to sell, if not the one having the mark--the name of the beast, or the number of its name. That my wise friend is EXACTLY the way that the BEAST kingdom of Daniel 7 has DECEIVED the whole world to worship the IMAGE OF THE BEAST, which is the roman pagan papal calendar - instead of Gods luni-solar calendar that He set into motion in Gen 1:14.
@--47293 жыл бұрын
@@delawarecop Nay my friend, I am not wise. But if I understand correctly it was the 7th Sabbath after the Crucifixion that The Holy Spirit fell on the Apostles on the Day of Pentecost? Which is the same day as the Feast that Paul had to get to? Is that kinda correct? I can’t scroll and reread your post as I type and my memory is not that great. But if I understand correctly we’re keeping the wrong Sabbath? If so which is the correct one according to Jesus/Apostles/Paul’s calendar?
@delawarecop3 жыл бұрын
@@--4729 - Paul only knows the calendar that Jesus revealed to him, and it's not the calendar that the pope tells us to use. That's why the pagan easter changes every year, because even the pope knows that his calendar is wrong.

I used to be an atheist. I don't understand how someone who was truly Christian could be converted to an atheist. Why? Because when I was converted to a Christian I was told that my logic was flawed. I believed I just knew it all. Then someone told me if I was so scientific then I should try it and see what comes about it. So I did my research. I learned how to say the sinner's prayer. I learned how to accept Christ and then I asked God that if He were real give me a sign and take away my pain (I was suffering from depression) immediately after that fact the sun shined brightly upon me, my depression literally dissipated and I felt real joy for the first time in years. That was the day I was saved. God saved me with my own ego. So it is not enough to raise your kids to be Christian. You have to raise them to actually have a relationship with God and to understand God and to know God. Because before I knew who God was, before I knew what He stood for, I didn't believe in God because all the bad things that happened. I thought God was supposed to be like Superman but no. God is not Superman. He allows the evil to happen in the world because this world will not be here forever. He allows Christians to suffer because He has a greater plan. The devil knows all your weaknesses. If that Marine's daughter was converted so easily it's simply because she professed with her mouth that she was a believer but in reality in her heart she was an unbeliever. The Bible is the only proof you need of God. God made the wisdom of the world foolishness. If you need to prove to yourself or to anyone else that God is real with anything other than the Bible you are not truly a believer in all your heart. God gives the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, to His followers to use to convert those He wants converted. Faith means trusting in God without needing proof. "Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed." John 20:29 The moment I opened up my heart, closed my eyes, bowed my head and put my faith in God and prayed I showed I truly trusted God. Before then I had always said Grace before dinner but I had no relationship with God and didn't know God. You have to build a relationship with God. It's not enough to teach your children to pray. Teach them how to build a relationship with God. Our God is a personal God. This is what the Lord Jesus Christ showed us through His actions on Earth. If you don't know how to build a relationship with God the Bible is just a book for you

Michele, do yourself a favour. Don't use any of these arguments or answers that Frank used. Anyone with an 8th grade science pass will destroy them in 2 seconds. When an ignorant Christian has a Q and A with another ignorant Christian, then the only outcome is ignorant answers that reinforce their already ignorant position. Have a physicist ask Frank some questions and see how he goes. He tries to answer with authority but knows absolutely nothing about anything that he's talking about with regard to cosmology or physics. That's why he gets loaded questions from another Christian.
@gingercake090711 ай бұрын
@@Fred-hk7wk This person can believe God and study science because God created the science by creating the universe. Science is not a deity outside of God, it is simply man trying to understand his environment nothing more. The first scientific task was given by God to Adam and Eve , name everything. That calls for scientific method of observing measuring, quantifying evaluating and classifying. So science is going to reveal God not cancel Him out.

All the scientist is going is to do is guess, conjecture , give an opinion but the scientist will not definitively rule out God. Sorry good try but man doesn’t have a complete knowledge of the Earth his own planet so proving definitively God doesn’t exist, it is way out of his or her league. You aren’t a god are you? @@gingercake0907 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yeah ok, but for some reason your all powerful all knowing God didnt know that the earth was a globe, that dinosaurs existed, that Australian aborigines existed for 60 thousand years before he popped up, that the earth wasn't the centre of the universe, that the sun didn't revolve around the earth, that there were other planets, that the sun was a star, that the big bang happened, that the earth is 4.5 billion years old, washing your hands before eating could save your life, that whales are mammals, what the moon was, what stars were, the size of our galaxy, that millions of other galaxies existed, that the big bang happened, that the universe is expanding, what atoms are, anything about physics or anatomy or biology, etc, just to name a few. Every time science makes a discovery that you fools didn't know about, you shift the goal posts, and claim that it's gods work. You're absolutely unbelievable. One day you're thumping your chest saying "Buybull Buybull Buybull", the next day it's "oh yeah, we really DON'T follow the Buybull , it's just a guide." So you, like all Christians, are a hypocrite. When science proves your fictional story over and over again, you double down with stupidity and claim that science is gods work. Well, we don't need Gods work, everything functions perfectly without a God and is perfectly explained without a God. So again, without any evidence of any kind to support anything that you believe is true or that any of the fictional characters ever existed, it's just another baseless assertion, no different to every other religion on earth. Until you prove otherwise, it's just mediaeval Harry Potter.

IDK if you guys look at these comments.. but Jesus has done so much in the lives of my jewish family (thank you Isaiah 53), as well as in my own life UNDENIABLY. He brought me out of addictions that had me bound for years, and the enemy has lost that power over me. However, he has tried new tactics such as doubt as of recent, to the point of me waking up in the middle of the night in tears of shame bc of these thoughts. My wife has been a blessing in helping me in prayer through this. BUT when the question of "Is it ok for a christian to doubt their faith"... you described it in a great way, and when you got to the example of the DWI and the judge, I broke down into tears. I believe tears of confirmation from the Holy Spirit reminding me that my heart and life ARE HIS and not to worry. Thank you so much, and like I said idk if yall read these comments.. but thank you SO much for stirring the Spirit in me and breaking me down, these are life changing confirmations for believers. I suppose as humans it can be hard to truly wrap our minds around the love that God has for us, because he transcends all things of the world. Thanks again, and God bless you both.

nothing because we are in the one true church established by Christ. I don't understand how protestants don't understand this. I would recommend checking out the channel 'how to be Christian. I have not met a protestant that could refute his arguments, completely using scripture.
@SSOAPride09353 жыл бұрын
Pray for them first of all. Secondly, you have to understand that Apologetics is simply a tool for defending your faith and I would say most people that you are going to practice Apologetics with as a person are unbelievers/atheists or for example Muslims. Not Catholics. Catholics believe but their theology is horrible. Like most Catholics don't believe in being born again for example. They believe that you can confess your sin to a priest and be fine even though scripture says only Jesus has the power and authority to forgive sins. It's definitely more theological than about defending your faith when it comes to Catholicism.
@crobeastness3 жыл бұрын
@@SSOAPride0935 the catechism of the catholic church is the official book of what we believe. if you think that about us I'm sorry someone has misinformed you. you are born again when you are baptized (yes, as an infant of course). we confess to god. the priest acts as a witness. 1 timothy 6:12 tells us to confess in front of witnesses. who do you confess in front of your family? our theology goes back to the year 33 AD. also, its hard to defend your faith when sola Scriptura is undefendable.
@trueashiraa40713 жыл бұрын
@@crobeastness that is wrong. Catholic theology goes back to the council of Nicea, which occurred around the year 325AD....317 years after the death of Jesus....and years after the lives and gospel accounts of his first followers....those who were actually around him and heard the things he said and commanded. Catholics hold tradition and doctrine as equally valuable....(catechism 82 pg 31)....they believe that the only ones who can interpret the Bible is the pope (not biblical btw) and bishops (catechism 100 pg 35)....they believe Mary was sinless (catechism 491 pg 138) (which romans 3:23 clearly makes clear that no humans is, ever was, and ever will be....that’s why we needed Jesus) they believe that Muslims can be saved (even though they don’t accept Jesus as the son of God and the propitiation of their sins....cuz they don’t believe he died or resurrected at all....and that’s actually a requirement to be saved (romans 10:9) (catechism 841 pg 242 & 243), confessing sins to a priest, infant being born again through baptism (when they don’t even have a mental capacity to actually accept Jesus as their lord), and The Whole indoctrination of the pope actually meaning something....the pope actually believes he’s the vicar or substitute for the messiah on earth (catechism 882 pg 254) and much much more contradictions to the authoritative words of scripture.... So Catholics are sadly being misinformed and led astray....the Catholic Church was established by Constantine not Jesus....Jesus church has him as the head....has him as the mediator between God and man....not the pope (1 Timothy 2:5)
@crobeastness3 жыл бұрын
@@trueashiraa4071 the church does not claim the pope to be a mediator. Only Jesus is. Read Matthew 16:16-19 to understand the papacy. It's literally in the bible. We don't confess to a priest. We confess Infront of him as the bible says to confess in front of witnesses. The catechism says Muslims PROFESS to know the one true God. The operative word here is profess. As you n they claim. The church also hopes people who are not catholic through no fault of their own (indoctrination, lackluster of exposure, etcetera) CAN be saved, because we do not damn anyone hell. Hell is full of souls don't get me wrong but we don't know any specific human who is there. The parents accept Jesus on the infant's behalf. It is a welcoming onto the covenant. Baptism is a must for salvation. If a child dies at age of 4 without getting baptised there is a good chance that child could be on hell. You accept Christ yourself during the sacrament of confirmation. Jesus is an exception to Romans 3:23 why can't Mary be as well? If you are saying it is because Jesus is God, then you would be denying his human nature as well. The magnesium and pope has always been the only ones able to interpret the bible, aka Peter and Paul. The council of Nicea is not the origins of the church. That is when they established the nicean cread. Not make up, establish based on what theyve always believed. The creed was said to repudiate Arianism. Most protestant denominations still use this creed, not just the catholic church. The reason there was no council before Nicea was because it was too dangerous. Christians were being persecuted throughout the empire. Constantine made it illegal to do so any further. While he may or may not have been a true convert (it is uncertain), his mother certainly was and at the very least respected her religious belief. Before this the church fathers were sending letters back and forth to each other, using the word catholic as early as 105 AD and refering to authority with Rome and the bishop of Rome, and there having to be a church, rejecting solo interpretation, etcetera.all this, hundreds of years before Nicea. Jesus' teachings are known even today. I suggest you do a deep dive on the pope, perhaps an encyclopedia or something. You will see it traces back to Peter. I'm not understanding your distinction between tradition and doctrine. Tradition means 'passed down'. Doctrines are passed down. The bible itself is a tradition. It is passed down through the generation. Without someone introducing the bible to you, how would know of it's existence? Spreading the word of God is a tradition. The bible itself also never says which books are canon so how do you know which are canon?

I happened to buy the book Dr Frank Turek recommended today just before I started watching this video! Imagined my surprise when I realise that I am listening to the co-author of the book I just purchased over Amazon. I felt drawn to buy the book and didn't notice who the authors were till this video. Amazed!

Answering a question with a question doesn’t sound very much like defending your faith to me😳

What do you mean?

I concur with Sharon H, what to you mean? Or seeing questions bother you, maybe a statement will help. If you watch carefully Frank normally respond with a question, but then explain the reason for the question and then explain the Christian view and contrast it with the opposite view. He only uses the question to force the person posing the challenge to evaluate what the challenger is postulating.

Isn’t that wild 😂 it seems like every kind of action in atheism or other religion has some kind of written in hatred for Christianity in some way shape or form, glad Christ called my heart cause arguing so hard against something I didn’t believe in my whole life would’ve been rough, imagine being Darwin.🙂↔️🤌🏻
