Phuzzy, great video, very entertaining. I was wondering if you (or anyone else) knows of any games in the same genre/gameplay as Sea of Thieves that doesn't force pvp?... I enjoy this game but resent the fact I have to deal with relentless pursuit from childish people with no impulse control that think 2 or 3 vs 1 spawn killing me on my empty ship is funny and/or skillful. I don't mind a fair fight, nor losing to a better player, but in the 2 weeks since I started playing I've had maybe 2 friendly interactions across dozens, and 1 fair fight against another solo sloop. I'm old, and tired of having my game time wasted. Any suggestions?

This is a great video and incredibly helpful to stop boarders from getting on your ship. I had no idea you can throw the blunder bombs at seemingly unconventional areas of your ship to knock people of ladders. Thanks for the video!

Thank you Phuzzy! I was solo slooping this weekend and came under fire on 3 different servers. Usually I ladder guard with my blunder bus but I've struggled to maintain proper distance and missed or hit regged. This weekend I used this strategy right here and defended against at least 20 boarding attempts successfully! I was thinking of you the whole time. Now if I can just get better at solo naval. 1 went 1-2 both losses were 2v1

Get a storage crate, take stuff from an outpost, go to a sea fortress, clear it and take the 150 cannonballs, 30 wood, and meat and good fruit and such (and bonus treasure), and then repeat with more outposts, sea fortresses, and any floating barrels, or small islands you come across until you have hundreds of wood, thousand cannonballs, and enough cooked provisions to feed all those skinny skeletons in the Sea of Thieves :D

hey phuzzy, something you can do to stock a ship really fast is use the lords of the sea tall tale and just kill the ghost ships and gather enough crates till you're satisfied

I just bought Xbox and bought the 2023 deluxe download for Sea of thieves.i finished tutorial last night. I had no idea to expect people swimming up to me lol I assumed I would just roll up sail and try and aim with the cannon

I love sot but my biggest issue that's been a problem since day 1 is how much of an advantage aggressive players get not needing to resupply and just keep going maybe giving less supplies after respawning or something (not zero in case a shark/ship/kraken attacks)

My stock routine is to drain an outpost and pop over to a near by sea fort and frain it before and after I complete it. I may work a ghost fleet into there to get a chance at wrath cannonballs for the session.

Great Question. Blunderbombs have a much larger knockback, which removes some of them from the cannons so I won't get wrecked, most of the time on a Brigantine, pirates end up in the water, Cannonballs usually follow, as shown in the video ☺️

@@PhuzzyBond I personally shoot cannons first because I'm usually able to one-ball one of the enemy pirates, and then when they are dealing with a wounded pirate and possibly a dropped sail, I shoot the blunders to confuse and interupt them from their ship management. Doesn't work all the time though, I don't win every fight but I like to use each one to improve my naval strategy and most of the time I secure sinks this way.
