~ About Master Wong ~
His early life was filled with many hardships and much suffering. Times were often sad and difficult for him and for his family and those around him. The bullying and violence that Master Wong suffered as a child got him into many scrapes and personal battles which adversely affected the quality of his education, causing him to leave school at a young age. His life continued down a difficult road, with many struggles and numerous obstacles along the way.
With the success that he has had since those times, he realizes that he can push the boundaries further and not just help people by teaching them his skills in Martial Arts, but that he can also guide people to build up themselves by achieving better health.
Good health comes in all shapes and sizes and Master Wong has learned that with health, wealth can follow - once body and mind are united. Dreams can be achieved once you have good health: strength in body and mind. After all, if your body was a Ferrari, wouldn’t you fill its tank with the best fuel that you can?
It is essential to make health a top priority in order to stay focused in life.
“There are many ways to help people, but I don’t believe in giving a man a fish to feed himself for a day: I want to teach a man to fish so he can feed himself and others for a lifetime! I want to show people how they can heal themselves from the inside out, and to help them build the self-confidence they need so that they can focus on their goals and dreams or find their purpose in life.”
Master Wong’s book will help you understand how, despite adversity, you can work to overcome the modern-day challenges we face. His mission is to raise awareness, to help you become the best version of yourself that can be achieved. Master Wong has overcome this problem by changing his mindset which you'll read in this book. ► bit.ly/2N8sE0a

Interesting video. I hate those kind of guys who attack people like that..One must learn how to defend oneself against them...Yes, skilled fighters should never get involved in inciting physical skirmishes unless something physical is done to them first...You'll always get these unskilled idiots with chips on their shoulders who follow up words with unjustified punches to the face who try to impose their will and aggression on people to use fear to psychologically dominate them...Using FEAR to stay on the POWER...If they were skilled fighters they would be honourable Samuri..They wouldn't NEED to indulge in this behaviour...Scratch the surface of these bullying wanna-be 'hardmen' & you will always find underneath someone who is insecure & desparately has something to prove to themselves...Plus when it comes to the finish they always select victims (rather than risky opponents) who they know are too weak or sensitive to retaliate so they can exact their fear,dominance & violence upon them...They are too cowardly to 'punch above their weight' because deep down they know if they tried to test themselves against real opposition they would lose..They also tend to hero worship thuggery, gangsterism, viciousness & brutality as being the marks of a 'real man' which is really UGLY & nasty....They suppress any Ying & emphasize a mountain of YANG to the point of being downright vicious....In contrast to this, here are the words of Bruce Lee dating back to the early 1960s which questions the foundations of the mindset of these people - He said - ' The world is full of people determined to be somebody or to give trouble..Such ambitions have no use for a Gung Fu man..because ideally he must not be proud at all...Pride emphasises the importance of the superiority of ones status in the eyes of others. There is fear and insecurity in pride because when one aims & achieves that status there is fear of losing that status....Then protection of this status can become very important & this leads to anxiety....With self cultivation a Gung Fu man lives without being dependent upon the opinion of others. Since he lives like this he has no fear of not being esteemed. He never depends on the ratings of others for his happiness or confidence.'...........This is the Path of the honourable Samurai.....Not the gutter bully-thug.....The thoughtful Gentleman with Master Wong here made a very good point actually , All videos can't be pressure tested fightings obviously...With Street assaults the way they are every vid would be just wild with no principle or point to it so nothing could be specifically taught. Self defence could be pressure tested but as a separate video from the principle & the theory....Careful with the eyejabs, best only to use them in life threatening environments...Anyway,,,Im off to feed the Cat.

Hi Master Wong, I've been a great fan of your You Tube Wing videos for a very long time now, and I just wanted to ask your advice about a very common stance attackers assume, often to range out their victims in preparation for say delivering a big knock out punch face. The stance I'm refering to seems to be one of the most commonly employed and untilizes a raised knee (lets for example say the left knee) together with and out stretched left arm jabbing motion towards the victims face, in preparation for say a straight right hand punch. What would your advice be concerning an attackers use of a raised left knee and left jab to initiate a right handed straight punch. Many thanks for any advice to able to give on this particular self defence related to topic. I figure if an attacker comes in with a raised knee, it would probably hinder your ability to close the gap on them to initiate perhaps a pre-emptive self defence measure of your own. Hopefully you've managed to make sense of what I'm actually rambling on about here. Once again, many thanks.

Hi Master Wong. Another thing I've long wanted to ask concerns the question of whether it's possible to interpret individuals intention, simply by the way he has positioned his feet, hands and body. Also, on the question of street self defence and specifically the possibility of a victim being knocked out by a surprise punch (more common than not it would seem) is it useful to assume that the punch we should least be concerned about in this regard is the jab and that similarly, the punch we should be most concerned about in this regard is the straight punch or haymaker. In your personal veiw would it be useful to prioritize your defence with this particular observation in mind? Many thanks for any advice you might be able to give on these two topics.

I'm sorry, but when you put your head on his head at the beginning of the confrontation that is the dumbest thing you could ever do. Instead of pushing you to make the choreography work he could have just punched you and because you are so close to him you can't react fast enough to move. I've been in business for 25 years and I teach my students from the beginning that range is so important that it doesn't matter what belt you wear you can always be hit by anyone if you are too close. The macho nose to nose in your face position between two people about to fight is reckless.

@davidlitts9610
@davidlitts9610 5 жыл бұрын
As I said i other posts and I have been teaching ad studying marital arts for years 35 in fact so i have been around for a while and understand what works and what does not. There are reasons some techniques do not work but one of the biggest reasons is that the person using them either does not have the intent or will, or confidence. They freeze up or they don't want to do what must be done. Next there is this idea that there is a technique, and Master Wong explained this, but I thought i would explain this as i have with people I have trained. What i do is teach you techniques for the most common situations, but what you as a student needs to learn is the principle behind the techniques. This is tat will get you by, along with training, conditioning and practice. if you know the principles behind your techniques you can make anything work, as long as you have the conditioning,and the will to do it. or at least get away from your attacker. The idea is that Master Wong is showing you some very common attacks, a variety f techniques and the principles behind them, and your job is to take those principles and work them with a training partner and see what you can get to work for your body type and level conditioning. We also have to realize that attacks come out of the blue, they are hard, fast, unless you are dealing with someone who just wants to impose their will Very few skilled fighters are going to be out there looking to use their MMA skills to beat up on some poor person well unless they are mentally ill or got hit in the head one too many times. Some folks like to sit and talk,and it is obvious the what if crowd, well fact is we do not play the what if game, we are learning about many things, principles , awareness and other things. So we are a very reactionary art, and you have to go with the flow, handle what comes your way, be aware of things around you, what you are able to do, and what your attacker is doing. Most times you can get out of situations by not being there or be observant about what is going on around you, understand your environment and using some common sense. Most of us can feel in our gut that something is not right and we need to go with those feelings and take ourselves out of the situation if possible, not be there, and that is the important thing, and if caught we have principles and techniques we can go to, adapt and make them work because we know the principles behind the techniques. Sorry there is no substitute for conditioning and training, no magic pill for every situation it is how you react to that situation which makes the difference and the experience you have though training and your mindset that will get your through. So instead of talking stuff bout this does not work or that will never work, why not come at things with an open mind. learn the principles behind it, practice them in difference scenarios and adapt them for your needs talk is cheap, every has an opinion, and well opinions get your nowhere when the crap comes down.
@davidlitts9610
@davidlitts9610 5 жыл бұрын
You get to a point in teaching where the students has more questions and is not accepting the answers, they sometimes look for danger around every corner. Yes I answer questions but I also expect students to start to think on their own All fights are different and if you understand the principles of techniques you have to let them come out and adapt them to what you need them for. There is not a set solution for every problem and one must learn how to use what they learn and think, they have to train hard and learn to make things second nature, and in time these things will come out when needed I was never taught by an western teacher. All my masters were Asian they put up with a certain amount of questions and they taught you why you were doing this or that, and it was up to you to train and learn what works best for you.
