I really liked this clip on Barzal because it showed similarities with another top performer in the NHL: Crosby. I like to look for patterns that generate results. When I see the same pattern repeated multiple times, I pay attention. I hope that me pointing this out is helpful for you too.

Barzal is going to be a superstar. Such a great skater.

BTW, it's still really solid play by the d-man here. Barzal throws it all at him and he doesn't get a clean shot off because he's keeping his body between Barzal & the goal instead of running after the puck going every which way.

Seriously---he is not thinking of doing anything u say....he gift is speed.....25% is talent, 25% is psych and SPEED is 50%. Speed covers all errors and mistakes....basic sport knowledge 101 Barzal has done this same move a hundred times and usually his play is broken up

Tripod is the stance with your stick, corkscrew is the mechanic.
