Nope. I've done around 20 of these and never had one leak or fail.

When heated it should get to around 250 F and the seals are rated to 300 - 350 F

Yes you have to change the cam if your deleting the AFM/DOD

Why didn’t your put the oil filter neck screw back in just asking

The oil fill neck doesn't have a screw to hold it down. It turns about 30 degrees right and pulls out of the valve cover

@@derekbuilt7761 are you serious! Where are you located? My local shop is repairing as on of the I think pistons or cylinders is stuck cylinder 1 misfire and the stabile warning came out. They said they will repair without deleting because deleting would cost more as it requires a cam shaft as well. Much more than 1500

What station are you playing ! I gotta tear down a 07 LT I picked it up 142k on it oil pressure low and multiple missfire for 3k its clean as hell . gotta love a AFM/DOD delete !

The D.O.D/AFM delete kit comes with a Diablo Tuner to disable the D.O.D/AFM so there was no Check Engine Light
