How sad is this? This should be at the bottom of the settings page. One click and you are there. Despite its "AI", this doesn't show up if you search for it. This is what I love about Microsoft.

DEAR EVERYONE FOR JAN 2025: . . . . :3 I will tell you step by step how to delete your facebook account, this is up to date Open the app and click on the 3 bars Scroll down to settings and privacy and click on the settings tab Click on accounts center Click on personal details Click on Account Ownership and Control Click on Deactivation or Deletion Click on your account you want deleted Make sure the "Delete your account" is checked in blue, it will not be automatically selected It will go through hoops to make sure you do not delete your account Select "I no longer find facebook usefull" Click continue Scroll all the way down and click continue You will need your password on hand and enter it here Click the big BLUE button that says "Delete account" It will log you out, do NOT log back in and delete the facebook app
