Nice job, nice tutorial, quality workmanship & install tips also! These new *Rangers are AWESOME* ! Ford truck engineering really brought back the Ranger properly. Powertrain is so far ahead of *rest of class* . Our frames are even stronger & suspension works better. As a mechanical engineer ..26yrs in "automotive manufacturing" be sure u run *SN+ /GF-6* "full synthetic" 5w30 (change 4k-5k mis /max / as u seem run truck hard & rev alot. 2.3L can take it w/its forged internals but old adage in racing is : *oils cheap..engines expensive!* . *Run 91-93 premium fuel* too if u can gets all the HP & keeps our Ecoboost runnin smooth😊.

Yeah, I could see that being a problem. Even if it fits, the exhaust would be hitting your running board.

Hey bud, that big one, is the resonator, small one is the muffler. If you chop them both open, the big one is hallow, small one is packed with glass. I thought the same as you until I had a ford dealer pull up the prints

Great installation video! I’m in the process of installing mine on my 2023 XLT crew cab. I am however having trouble getting the delete pipe to go over the factory down pipe. Almost like it’s not quite large enough. Thoughts?

Ouch, I did not have that problem. Is it close? You may just have to place a 2x4 or something on the other and and try hammering it on.

Instead of Lucas, spit works on the rubber shock mounts for the exhaust hangars. You can use WD40, Liquid Wrench, dish soap, as well and they won’t damage the hangar. WD40’s damaging chemicals evaporate relatively fast. Do not soak the isolators as they will swell.

My 2021 Tremor has Roush exhaust tip and muffler. It sounds very nice. Not too loud at all, but deeper and very slightly louder than stock. I bought it recently cpo from a Ford dealer. They never even mentioned the exhaust upgrade. I doubt they even noticed it. lol

@@MicahMartinDIY if you ever do a downpipe, buy heat shield for it! I mean holy crap I had an AFE downpipe on for only two weeks and took it off, it only got to the temp of what the OEM downpipe did but dang man. I took it off and put the oem on. If I ever go back to a downpipe I’ll definitely wrap it in thw heat shield stuff next time. I did have to do the o2 sensor non fouler hack but I felt guilty running that lol.

The new kit came with adaptors that connected to the factory brackets.

Depends where you are. I passed inspection in NC in 2021, and then this year they failed me. Same shop. So I just put the factory setup back on just long enough to pass and ripped it back off again. Totally worth it!
