Let me simplify this. When “Roger” walks up to you in a hostile manner and gets close enough to hit you, hit him first right away, hit him hard and hit him often and gtfo of there quick. Street fights are not for all this BS. Hit first, hit hard and get lost

In a street fight people can take all kinds of damage 3 4 5 punches on target might knock someone out but in the moment the most likely outcome is you both rolling round and grappling with very little space and other people getting involved.
@tonypaella
@tonypaella Жыл бұрын
If both are untrained then maybe. If one of the two is trained the outcome changes. Either the trained one is a striker. The. The untrained one gets sparked quickly. Or the trained one is a grappler. Then it goes down but no rolling around. The grappler will be on top and do as they please.

Things the BJJ guys say to cover them getting s snore nap in street fights for 400 Alex Not if you know how to punch and have decent muscle mass , and are male Jack Dempsey the boxer wrote a book about dirty boxing Bracing a strike to the head ,means they take the whole hit to the head Easy knock out You can pretty much guarantee most boxers have read the book Check hooks are also made for this

This is the first thing you learn when you go do any serious martial art. Get your foot on the outside of your opponent’s lead leg. Circle to his weak side (his jabbing side), use head movement and pivot to create an angle. It’s solid advice, don’t get me wrong, but this is known by everyone who’s ever stepped into a boxing gym.

I won't lie, as someone who tends to shadowbox on occasion, I've always been fascinated by the science of the knockout punch. How do you know when is the right time to throw that punch and drop somebody with it? What side of your opponent's chin is the nerve sitting on?
@marcusclarkson2657
@marcusclarkson2657 Жыл бұрын
No nerve, you want to shake the brain and most ko punches accomplish this by striking near the base of the skull. The tip of the chin, under the ear are good targets. Shots to the temple are effective as well. Avoid hitting the forehead and top of the head as they are hard enough to break your hand and there's nothing to " give." That's why in boxing you keep your chin tucked and watch your opponent from under your brow. Keeping a tight clinch on your jaw can help protect from ko, having your jaw relaxed and mouth open is a good way to get knocked out. Just a few tips

The easiest way to knock someone out is to hit them with a punch they don't see coming. (I don't mean a sucker punch). I mean a punch that is either hidden from their view because of positioning or one that catches them when so many punches were thrown that their mind can just no longer keep up. Also, don't punch someone like you're trying to punch them in the face, but rather deeper like you're trying to punch the back of their head through their face. So you have to be a bit closer than the end of your reach or know how to use your body to close the gap. If someone knows how to take a punch and they see it coming, the likelihood of them being knocked out increases greatly unless you are just an extraordinary puncher. This man's demonstration was not to show a move to use so much as it was to show the whiplash effect that can be caused by catching someone with a punch in a position that can actually move the head quickly enough to cause the brain to rattle. Professionals tuck their chin to limit head movement when punched because if the chin moves far enough at the right velocity, the same effect can occur. Also, shadow boxing is not only to learn how to throw punches properly, but it is also to study yourself to see where you are making yourself vulnerable so you can correct it. You can learn a lot about your strengths and weaknesses by doing it in a mirror. You can see where you are open when you punch. You can see when you take too much time or leave too much slack. And you can also see if you're telegraphing. Eliminate wasted motion. Make everything choppy and direct. Pay attention to the opposite hand lowering a bit when you punch and eliminate that as well. If you are honed. You won't have to worry about it when the time comes, and if you possess knockout power, it will just happen.

Got into a fight last year at school it’s summer now but I knocked him out in front of everybody and now he hates me. I had beef with him since gym in 9 square I said you suck he got really mad and started yelling at the teacher that I should get in trouble. Then his friend came up to me and said he wanted to fight me on Monday I said ok waited in the restroom he never showed up. Asked hm face to face why he didn’t show up he said because I never went in there so I just said ok. The next day he wanted to fight we were about to fight but he walked of mad and said he hates me. Fast forward next Monday he shoves me down then I get up push him against the wall and he tries to punch me I dodged it and knocked him out gave a really bad nose bleed it was all over the school page for 1 week then no one cared. Keep in mind the kid is taller and bigger than me he is also one of the quiet kids so I always watch my back

Thank you for sharing your story. It may be a good time for you guys to see if you can both agree to a truce. I can guarantee you that peer pressure is the main reason behind him displaying aggression towards you. From what I gather from your story, sounds like when it came down to actually meet up in bathroom and square-up, he never showed. There was not going to be a big crowd of other students to see and therefore he wanted no part of it. Most likely, the people he has around him are encouraging him to continue the conflict the two of you are going thru. From someone who has had many various fights and alterations as a younger man, please take my advice...See if you can approach him at a time when none of his so-called friends are around or any girls he may be trying to impress, etc. Be sure to make it very clear that you only want to talk and not fight or anything else. Then look him directly in his eyes and ask him if he woukd agree to end the problem you have with each other. Let him know that you apologize for making his nose bleed and maybe even suggest that you guys look into getting involved in a local boxing or mma training group together for the discipline and skills you'll learn. Or whatever else that you think you would both enjoy doing. Then at the end of your talk, extend your hand out to shake his hand. Even offer to become friends. I bet you 2 could end up being best friends for a long time if you made the effort to do so. Fighting is certainly NOT the answer. And having to "watch your back" all the time for fear of being attacked or worse, is definitely a bad place to be and certainly not something you want to have to be constantly thinking about. Enjoy life and ignore what the other students say. Trust me, in a few years when you finish school, you will never see the majority of them ever again. Instead focus on building a few really strong, solid and long-term friendships that truly matter. I wish you Success in life in all that you do, Sir. Please remember that violence should never be the solution unless someone's life is being threatened. Good Luck!

There's no reason to be in a "street fight" that means I lost my temper and don't have the intelligence maturity to avoid a confrontation. If it's an attack? My best defense is being aware of my environment and not letting anyone too close. And depending on my situation I have pepper spray, stun gun and as well as a Concealed firearm. The only variable is ... I don't always have the pepper spray or stun gun available. My point? Never screw with people you don't know.

Getting hit in the chin/jaw is the most dangerous place to get hit and most likely place to cause a knock out. A KO is caused by your brain touching your skull, the brain is protected by liquid inside your skull to stop this happening. But if someone hits your chin is creates such a jolt where your head will spin too fast,.thus creating the ko.
