How to depixelate images And Convert Into High Quality Photo in Photoshop

This is just bloating up the resolution with a bit of enhancement of details. Even with a lot of work, this might be enough for screens but you can't make a high-res image out of a low-res image. This is nowhere near High-Quality images and details will always seem a bit blurry, because, well, THEY ARE!

Thats because put simply you can't. If you could I guarantee they would have a single button to do it. Unless ist a vector file or similar you cant upscale or downscale it. What he did was just touch up her face by using blur and a high gloss overpass etc. Basically he touched up her skin.

Because it's impossible. In order for that to be possible your photoshop or whatever program used must go back in time and recapture that very photo to retrieve the missing details that's been lost in the low quality photo. And that's impossible

Hey! When i change the resolution for 300, it also changes the height and width...however I want the picture to be 1080 pixels x 1350 pixels with 300 resolution...Is that possible? My picture needs to be 1080 x 1350 because its for instagram feed and the original photo (that was taken with a cannon camera) has a differente size. So you're not increasing the quality of the photo. You just increase the amount of pixels without bringing back any details, which is quite different. You can't find back the details in the eyes of Kiera. Her skin looks over retouched. It looks more like a realistic painting than a high quality photo. It's not a question of what you're doing, but more a question of how you call it.

I've seen the same technique but with blending mode either vivid or pin light - the High Pass stands up way better. Additionally - making the final two layers smart objects gives you freedom adjusting the effects later on. I'm rather disappointed - expected more, sorry :)

you worked so good and hard but sorry to say that a low quality or pixelated image can not be converted in to a high resolution image as it had already been lost all the required details which can not be restored by any mean although you can create required texture artificially but original hi-res is incomparable :)

Well, a low resolution image will never become a HD image. Any software is able to increase the resolution of a picture, but it won't increase details as skin texture. The before/after difference here is that we won't see pixels anymore while zooming, but instead of that we will see blur effect : in fact this replace pixel by blur. I think the topic doesn't have the good name : maybee you should rename it "depixelate a photo" but the way you did it is not true. Peace

Well, you can try to enhance a low resolution photo but you will never be able to achieve a high resolution because there is a lot of information missing in that photo that can't be added later on. Otherwise why botter taking 12MP photos if you could achieve the same quality with 5MP ;-)
