The diagram displays the manufacturing process of sugar produced from sugarcane. For sugar production, the process includes seven main stages like harvesting, crushing, purifying, evaporating, separating, and finally drying and cooling takes place. The final product produced is sugar. Initially, the sugar canes are grown up to 12-18 months. Then, the harvesting is done. For the harvesting process, two methods can be used, it can be done manually or by a harvester. Then, the harvested canes are crushed through a crushing machine to extract the juice from the canes. Following this, the juice is filtered using a limestone filter. The juice is then condensed by using an evaporator where the juice turns into a syrup. Finally, the syrup is moved across a centrifuge where the sugar crystals are separated from the syrup due to the high pressure produced by the centrifuge. Lastly, the sugar crystals are dried and cooled for the final product to be formed. Therefore, the dried sugar crystals are formed.

The given diagram details the process of producing sugar from sugar cane. Overall, it is a linear process consisting of four main stages: farming, crushing, separating and drying. The first step is to grow sugar cane and it takes 12 to 18 months for it to mature, which is the longest stage. After it has fully grown, it is harvested either manually or mechanically. The manual process involves farmers removing the leaves first and then chopping canes, while the mechanical process uses a specialized vehicle to cut canes directly. Having been cut, the harvested canes are crushed to extract the juice, which later on is purified by using a limestone filter. Next, the purified juice is boiled in an evaporator to remove water, resulting in syrup. The syrup is then poured into a centrifuge where it is spun at a high speed to separate sugar crystals. The last stage is to dry and cool the crystals and the end product is sugar.

That was very informative and helpful! Thanks a lot. But I have a question. I thought, after watching several videos of how to write task1, we are not allowed to add more information not provided in the picture, based on our own knowledge. For example, how do we know it separates by speed in the centrifugation step? Or in the evaporation part, how do we know it separates water? Are we allowed to express those ideas that are not directly supported by the pictures?

The flow diagram indicates how sugar is manufactured from sugar cane. We can see that the manufacturing process requires seven main steps, consisting of growing, harvesting, crushing, purifying, heating, centrifuging, and cooling. At the first step in the production of sugar, which is growing sugar cane takes 12 to 18 months. When the sugar cane becomes mature, it is the time to harvest them. It could be harvested by the farmer or agricultural automatic equipment. Next then, the harvested sugar canes are crushed by a wheel-shaped machine into juice, which is liquid. The juice is purified by a kind of special filter, which is made of limestone. After that, the purified juice is heated in an evaporator to remove the water in the juice, which becomes syrup. The sugar crystals are separated from the syrup by a centrifuge. At the final step of the process, the sugar is put in a container to wait for their drying and cooling, which is the end product.

The given diagram details the process of producing sugar from sugar cane. Overall, the manufacturing process of sugar cane involves seven steps. The process of sugar canes, contains many steps including growing the canes, harvesting and crushing them. We may divide work into two groups using the diagram: work done by people and work done by machines. The first step is the process of growing sugar cane, which lasts from 12 to 18 months. In the next step, the work is handled by machine and human. In the third step, the sugar canes are crushed through the machine. Juice is a product of crushing sugar canes through the machine. In the fourth step, the juice is purified through the limestone filer. In the evaporator, the heated juice becomes a syrup. In the sixth step, the centrifuge is responsible for dividing sugar crystals from syrup. Finally, the sugar crystals from the centrifuge create the sugar. In the final step, the given product-sugar is dried and cooled for its further usage.

Overall, producing sugar by sugar cane includes seven main stages which is in order of growing, harvesting, crushing, purifying, evaporator, centrifuge and drying and cooling. The first step of process is to grow sugar cane which takes around 12-18 months. After, sugar cane is harvested by either machines or human labor. Machines harvest to sugar cane directly, while farmer needs to separate leaves then cut them by appropriate tool. The next step is to crushed sugar canes into a mill and extract juice from it. In the fourth step of process is to purified juice by used limestone filter and then purified juice is sent to evaporator, which is juice turned into syrup in this phase. Then, acquired syrup is went to centrifuge that's why separated from sugar crystals. Lastly, syrup is moved across to drying and cooling machine that syrup is became sugar .

Hi, a "3-stage linear process" is a process where each of the stages happens separately: first stage 1, then stage 2, then stage 3. A 3-stage non-linear process might allow stages 2 and 3 to happen at the same time.
