You have to go cold turkey and stop using whatever it is that's the addiction, same as drugs or any other addiction because it's the same dopamine hit. When you get the urge make a conscious choice not to and do something else that will keep you occupied and distracted. Be in the moment doing it and don't procrastinate thinking about how you're craving the addiction. If you start thinking of it recognise you are and literally stop and tell yourself not to think of it at that moment and force yourself to focus on something else. Take it each moment at a time..tell yourself I'll not do it for an hour then build it up and don't think too far ahead and overwhelm yourself... If seeing things with hot girls is going to trigger it then choose not to watch..instead click on a video like this or a game, anything to distract you until the urges go. If you have to stay off instagram all together if you think it could trigger it then just stay off it, tell any friends to contact by other means and tell them not to bring up anything about hot girls if you think it will trigger you...keep doing this over and over again everyday and I promise your mind will eventually adapt and create new pathways. If you relapse a few times don't beat yourself up over it and just get back on the wagon...you will make progress. It will be much harder at first but you have to go through the worst to get out the other side...it's just going to take time, dedication and willpower.
