Excuse me, but if you have to make the small corrections (from 3:39 on), it's because the shapes were not correctly on the grid, right? So how do you get the fit to the grid right? I'm looking for a method other than working in Ctrl Y mode while systematically zooming?

you're wrong. it's because he didnt zoom in close enough to see the TINY TINY space he left out without filling it.

Can you explain how you designed the logo initially and how you decided to make the shapes on the grid knowing itll make that shape ?

The first shape created was 120px. So the grid would be: Grade every: 60px Subdivision: 4

That's all the fruit of creativity. Basically you take a pen and a paper and you start imagining what type of logos you want (look it up typography, vintage, flat design, 3d monogram etc ...) Then you take reference image and you study them and you start making prototype by drawing what could be a logo. Obviously don't be harsh on yourself you are brainstorming it's normal if it doesn't look great and once you settle on what you will make then you imagine that logo in simple shapes that will help you when trying to follow along. Hope that help I'm knew to this stuff too
