I love the convo about the necks! I used to scoff at the idea of switching necks until I tried changing mine. Simply put, it got my mind off the mouthpiece because once that the horn was responding how I wanted, it played well regardless of what mpc I put on it. It cleared up issues that I thought could only be happening at the mouthpiece level, but I was tinkering with the wrong part of the horn.

This first saxophone, Atlantic London the duke, alto saxophone, is it a professional or intermediate saxophone ????

I’d say professional but priced at the advanced intermediate range. It will do everything you need I think.

Watched the video out of curiosity partially because i have followed sax co uk channel for a while but am shocked as I don't think we have heard Jamie play the sax. He has talked about playing guitar but Jim and George generally do the demonstrations. 🤔

The most expensive saxophones like Selmer Paris are not highly profitable because of the sheer labor cost in France. In fact the most profit for Selmer Paris is their mouthpieces.

I have not played on of these Atlantics but if they are a truly unique design then you will have piqued my interest.
