Are technical schematics and how-to mechanical steps going to be explained in this course, or is this just an overview course? Thanks for any information.

Hi Brad. Not really, but thanks for asking. It's designed to inform the homeowner how to make good energy decisions, assess their needs, select the right technology, understand how the technology works (without necessarily learning to completely install it, and navigate conversations with contractors.

I would be very much impressed if that could be done for few hundred dollars at Arctic circle in Europe, which has 6 months of "November"...

For a few hundred dollars?! You can't even build a deck for a few hundred dollars these days. I think annualized geothermal could help a lot there but the lack of winter sun is going to be a huge limitation.

I will definitely get this in a few years when I have a house. Right now it's not that useful unfortunately.

You make a good point, thanks, but this course is designed to benefit renters too! It offers plug-and-play solar and energy-saving tactics tailored for apartments, allowing for immediate savings on utility bills. Plus, starting now gives you a head start on knowledge, preparing you to make informed energy choices when you do buy a home. Joining now also lets you network with like-minded folks, and remember too that it's about building renewable energy habits now, not just in the future!

Will he be addressing the Inflation Reduction Act and how that money can be used to achieve these goals by Americans, please?

Hi Cajun, Sorry no. Our course is intended for a global audience, and while Dan is well suited to answer questions about US economic incentives, they are not part of the core curriculum.
