I thank God for you man because I was looking for so many ways to design my shoe drawings and then turn it into a 3d model. This helps so much!! Just a follow up. For me to render this for a 3d model I would just need to take it over to ps and then just hit "new 3d extrusion from layer?" I assume you know what I'm referring to. Good job here. And I'm not even completely done with this video!

No I would suggest using a 3d rendering software such as Blender or 3ds Max or something like that. 3d extrusion in photoshop has been around for years and apparently is being discontinued and it worked best for more simple objects

Hello, when you send off a drawing to the manufacturer, what other details do you tell them to use to make the shoes? For example, do you tell them the exact materials you’d like on your shoes? Also, would you need to provide these materials?

Yes they need to know the materials, the dimensions, which heels you want then to use, which last you want them to use, colours, lining. The more detail you provide the better otherwise you'll have to go through a few rounds of sampling till they get it right

No it’s all 2d, the factory will create a sample based on the 2d render

great tutorial, however I'd never wear that shoe. the heel is too high and not only not elegant because ( exotic dancer style is not elegant) but also seems super uncomfortable. A heel over 9-10 cm is an overkill. The ultimate best heel is 7-8 cm. for all women. Short and tall. anything above is not healthy for the foot and not practical in the user flow. great tutorial anyways LIKE!!!

@@AndreiRose utterley doubtfull ! Look at the under curve at the rear of the heel.. totally in sight where as the shoes curves towards the viewer so it should be seen at all..
