I can not find the circular sweep option in my design menu. I'm using 3-matic 13. Any help?

@Ana Luísa Guimarães Hi Ana, thank you for your question! The Tool Circular sweep is included only from 3-matic 14. If your version doesn't include the tool yet, you can get in touch with your sales account or contact us via the form: mtls.me/07tf

How to merge all the curves together? I suppose it does not let me merge more than 8 members in a group, but i need to design large forearm and one united curve because i will boolean subtract that wrapped curve with runner to create some pioeline structure inside, any suggestions?

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Curves are objects you cannot merge. You can however group them together under the same curve set or Part. In order to create a wrapped curve with runners, you don’t need to merge your curves, as you can select as many curves as you want as Entities in your “Circular Sweep” operation. You can then merge all the new parts resulting from the operation before your final wrapping. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your local Application Specialist to discuss your case in detail. I hope this information helps!

I don´t have the stl screw available. Do you know from where can I download it?
@MaterialiseMedical4 жыл бұрын
Hi, a few demo files are installed with the software. You can find them in the 3-matic installation folder, usually located on your C drive. Under Materialise, in the folder of your 3-matic version, you will find a folder called “DemoFiles”. Please see an example below for the path to the screw: C:\Program Files\Materialise\3-matic 15.0 (x64)\DemoFiles\Screw.stl . I hope this helps!

Can this model be downloaded from anywhere?

Hi , this model is unfortunately not publicly available. Don’t hesitate to create one of your own from a Dicom image set using the segmentation tools in Mimics.
