Hi, You can select the surface normal or any other direction seen in the video by holding SHIFT while selecting the corresponding surface.

The software is good but the head after such modeling will be asymmetric. need to look and take into account soft tissue atrophy

Hi, The design of the cranial plate shape is based on the spline created in the sketch before surface construction. There are 2 parameters that are important for drawing the spline which is the mirrored skull and the defect curve. To improve the result of the surface construction, the mirrored skull would need to be properly positioned to maintain a symmetrical shape of the skull before importing it into a sketch. You can simulate the soft tissue movement after the construction of the cranial plate to identify the symmetrical fit.
