Mine is a higgledy piggledy mishmash of tables and easels and lights, and I’ve chosen to leave a huge dresser that’s my “ancestor” altar in, as well as an old decrepit stuffed chair my cat loves taking up valuable space… seeing your beautiful and deliberate setup helps me realize a more committed and focused approach would be a good idea!

I hope you look into the ott light. I have a dark studio too and I have 3 ott lights. Ott lights are made to provide natural sun light to a space and are fantastic to work under. Just a thought! Love your new space and hope it works well for you! Can’t wait to see what’s go come.

I haven't! No shade to the Canvas team but after two years of use I've had some persistent flickering problems with it, so I'm likely going to get rid of it and switch to something different, I also found the Elgato multimount system to be a more effective system for overhead camera shots

So far I've picked up a Godox SL60W and a Godox SL100Bi to both function as better lights when making art and studio lights for videos. I also have a light above my desk now and an Elgato strip light for the back edge of my desk to light it up a bit

1000% hire movers to load the truck, but PACK EVERYTHING YOURSELF. Wrap the furniture in plastic and bubble wrap, take the legs off tables, be like EXTRA careful and pad everything way more than you think you need to. Your clothes are now packing materials. We paid for the movers to drive the truck cross country, which was like 2x the price, but absolutely worth it

I myself don't have anything that kelsey have however I've seen her journey since she had like 5k I guess so I know how hardworking kelsey is just through her videos and a lot of things happens in behind the scenes which i probably can't even imagine!! Those artist you are talking about probably don't know how to have more side income. It may sound rude but it's their fault if they're relying on one source of income instead of looking for more income streams. I'm myself a broke uni student yet I don't go around to spread hate on artist who are doing great in their career. It's simply because I'm mentally mature enough to not compare my life with others:)
