when I go to extrude after mirroring it, they both go right. What I would like, is for one side to go left and the other side to go right. I'm trying to make a tire and my tires Tred runs the same way it's not a left and right sided tire Tred. if you know what I mean all I want to do is make the perfect Coker 520 tire and my Tred runs the same way but when I add a mirror my Tred ends up left and right, but let's say I got the Tred to be the right way now when I extrude it both sides go right instead of left and right need some help with that Thanks If you have a discord maybe you can help me with this i can maybe give a lil something for the help thanks

The "rubber hairs" are not random on a tire thou
@3DArtisanal4 ай бұрын
Yes, you are absolutely right. Actually, I just showed one way to add these. I'm glad you pointed it out... thank you very much. If we want to add hairs to a specific area, we can select that area, create a vertex group, and then add that vertex group in the particles settings. This way, the particles will only show on the vertex group and nowhere else. You can add them precisely this way.

@@3DArtisanal I would rather make one as mesh and the duplicate it around the tire. They are consistant

@@intarsbroks7962 That’s a great approach! Using a mesh and duplicating it around the tire ensures consistency and can give a very precise result. There are many ways to achieve realistic details, and it’s always interesting to see different techniques. Thanks for sharing your method

@intarsbroks7962 The dude was showing one method...why don't you create your own video so we can watch. I would watch it. The point I am making is that there are many ways to do one thing...and in the great scheme of things, those rubber hairs are irrelevant in a cinematic game environment.
@intarsbroks79624 ай бұрын
@@s.patterson5698 if they are irrelevant then why make them anyways? I think if you make something that exists in realnlife then either you leave details out or make them correctly. Thats just my opinion
