Thanks for all these wonderful tips. I will definitely apply them to my base right now. I've got spike traps in front of the walls that are Level 2 and 1 and that saving me from The Horde So nothing is getting destroyed which is wonderful considering. I've only been playing for a few days. I will definitely have my bass setup before I join raiding.

Not that in a way that its a good idea, Its just fucking boring. I would think a horde danger level. If its a lower class horde, It would contain runners and roaming zombies. If its at medium Class, It would contain bloaters, Spitters, And runners. If its a High danger class, It can contain a Big one, Crawlers that run, And Toxic abominations.

I was watching this video when I felt like something was wrong, I felt like I've heard each and every word you just said but in a different video I watched a few days ago... Ok I know this my be a little lengthy but here I go. I would love if Kefir would implement a way for us to redesign our base without having to break walls and floors. Here is my solution. First a it would cost something either coins , bottle caps, something. Then there is a 12 to 24 hr time limit. Once you accept all your walls, floors, blueprint items, and any other obtained item are placed in a cue list like Clash of Clans when you redo a base. At the same time all your items in the chests are in a side storage (as it would take a lot to put the chest and all the items in them in the cue list, then this way you can go and reorganize you chest items as well to suite your new layout). While this is going on you are immune from starving, thirst, and the horde. Side note you can not redesign base while you are vulnerable to raider attacks. You would have to wait out the time. This would avoid people raiding and then doing this to reset there raid time count down. I hope this makes since, and JCF you are more than welcome to pass this to the devs as they would be more inclined to listen to you verses a little peon like me.

Makes perfect sense and a pretty good idea too.😎 I liked it, made a few adjustments as well, what do you think? Cost- 25 Bottle Caps Time- 24 hrs Chests- Ability to BREAK like walls. Everything inside goes to inventory in Store Menu. Walls- Option to "BREAK" or "SWITCH”. Can only SWITCH if floors are the same. While SWITCHING you have the option to change the type of wall.

JCF one question dies the lvl 2 and 1 walls have health like for example 9 crowd zombies die from the lvl 2 wall which is just one zombie away from breaking then the next horde comes and one zombie hits that lvl 2 wall does the lvl 2 wall survive that one zombie or does it break?

Well... I have a 3×9 steel room where I have all my storages and most important workbenches. By most important I mean one woodworking bench (for Oak and Ash in future), one workbench (for steel), Recycler, Pressing machine and the Refined furnace. The rest of them is considered "useless" and I do not even bother to spend resources to protect them, they are "free to get", as exchanging 20 planks and 10 iron ingots for a raid is OK for me. This (3×3 is better though, you do not need 27 spaces, 9 or 12 will be enough) is considered the most profitable design and everyone in my Clan agrees and follows it (the reason is you do not spend any resourses on protecting your stuff). Are we right or is it a terrible mistake?

Hello jfc, I loved the video you posted about Kefir doing fake tournaments on LDOE. Recently, I had the idea of using a couple of milkors in the third floor of bunker bravo to give me a little edge at the end. I did this around 4 times with no problem at all. Today, I got too much radiation HALF THE WAY, the rad started ticking my health and I couldnt go on. I tried this twice today and it happened both times. There’s a button that says “connect” in the gear tab, and it says something like, “you have progress, do you want to save it?” or something like that. I’m thinking about pressing it and I don’t want it to be a mistake. What happens if I press it? Will anything bad happen?

If you're talking about when you go to settings menu, that's just to link your game to Google Play Services or App Center so it saves your progress in case something happens. For example, if you uninstall and reinstall the game, switch phones or device, you can easily get back where you left off if your account was "connected". Where as if it's not connected, it may be lost forever and the devs can't help you restore your progress. Hope that helps.

[Copied and pasted from another comment I replied to] I copied his base to the nines and I started running numbers. Roughly 250+ walls, each lvl 3 wall is 20 bricks and 10 oak planks, iron hatchets have 75 uses x 8 hits/tree, that’s 9.3 trees/hatchet which is roughly 19-21 logs depending on the skills per hatchet. Using that, we have 2500 planks needed x 3 logs/plank, which is 7500 logs. Multiply that by 19logs/hatchet and that’s 400 HATCHETS. That’s not including the floor prices, materials to make lvl 2 walls which is a stack of pine planks. The woodcutting table is a huge bottleneck. 7500 logs x 3log/1 plank = 2500planks x 20 min for every oak plank and you get 50,000 minutes. Divide by 60, 833.3 hours, 34.7 DAYS just to make the damn planks if you were to run it constantly and that doesnt account for the pine planks necessary for lvl 2 walls, coal, tools, and others. Oh and you have to get rocks to make tools and refine them into bricks. And we have bunker Alfa, farm and PD go grind. ON TOP OF THAT your limiting resource is energy. And you can only make so many trips per day. 400 hatchets, x5 that’s 2000 pieces of tape which you can basically only find in zones, 10 iron ore per hatchet, that’s 4000 ore. Oh and forget about steel. You’ll need to be making iron pickaxes and grinding copper or recycling batteries and such. And smelting aluminum and iron constantly so your campfires are always going....it’s a huge mess. Why did I get hooked on this game...

@@AskChristopherP Thank you for the numbers. From what I have gathered, to keep a healthy normal life/virtual life balance, playing 2 hours a day is acceptable. If I dedicate my virtual life to just collecting resources for these walls, I would have to play for nearly a year and a half to collect the necessary resources minus the excess time the woodworking tables have to do their thing. It's just much easier to pay the $20 bucks when the 80% deal comes along

J. Lopez-Garcia that’s one thing that I don’t understand about Kefir. Greed and making the game p2w. If the game you make is incredible (which it is) then I’d bet most people wouldn’t mind dropping $5+ dollars considering the value it adds to our lives. Xbox games for example cost 20-60$ depending on age, and once you get through it, it loses its pull- what makes you come back to it. League of legends and clash of clans for example are loaded and their games are incredibly successful and they aren’t focused on profit. Also, you’re welcome! Last night I was doing the math for myself and then I came back to the video and thought maybe someone else is where I’m at. Overall with time I bet things will get cheaper because the devs make things very expensive so late game players stay and new players catch up. I’m lvl 119 and the grind getting to me. Also, I heard from a video that the 20$ for the steel room was the original price...👀 is it worth it? Yeah. Because steel is like diamonds.
