Pranav Tripathi yep.... we missed it. :( it’s so hard to get oak even with that oak forest event, when I went I only got 6 oak planks from it and that doesn’t help

@@lastfirstxxa7620 yeah man, even now, if I wanna make lvl3 stone walls then I'll have to go to the watchtower and farm oak regularly, plus they're only gonna be a few trees and the location is also quite dangerous

Pranav Tripathi Yh, u have to waste loads of weapons and especially if your an active player and have a big base it’s going to take months of work to actually get the whole entire base to stone walls. So I don’t bother getting oak now I’m going to make a generator and just open the section with the oak forests but then again that’s going to take some time because I don’t have a chopper

@@lastfirstxxa7620 plus if you regularly do raids then they will break one or two stone walls too, so then if you don't have metal room then lvl3 walls are futile too but i mainly have to make a cool looking efficient base and zombies keep shredding my base so it doesn't work for me.

I've watched a lot of videos on KZbin trying to get tips and tricks on how to make my base the best I can make it and this is easily the best one. I don't know how much time it took you to make it but thank you you've helped a lot of people. I just hope that the developers don't see it and compensate themselves because that will make all of this planning completely null and void hahaha🤕

Thank you so much Loren. That means a lot. Sadly, they already fixed the welcome mat trick. Other than that, I think most of the tricks are what I call "Dev intended tricks" so I don't think they will ever change them.

Jugando con Fuerza Yeah. From what I've seen, the Horde comes from the top right quadrant. Is there a way for players to break down spike traps? If not, use them inside L3 walls with your main entrance being a room to itself with 3 or 4 turrets and lots of mines. You won't harvest as much from other players but you'll get raided once a month by some high level coiner. Lol

Your style is very different from other KZbinrs, but I think you strike an excellent balance! And I was glad to see you talk about workflow--mine is sort of the reverse of yours by materials, but similarly sequential, counterclockwise, so at the end, I am reclothed, fed, showered, armed, and at the exit ready to go again. It was awesome to see my brain isn't aberrant--even if this behavior makes rational looting a little easier on the bad guys... if they get in at all. I even had the foundations laid for my own great wall, quite similar to yours! :-) Great minds. ;-)

It is spanish for "playing hard", but literally means "playing with strength" or "playing with force". It is also a play on words since my characters name is Fuerza. I am hoping make a logo soon that would simplify it to JcF. This will make it easier for easy sharing.

I came up with a tactic similar to your great wall tactic. I call it the door maze. The outside of my base is all doors so a raider cannot determine the main access point. Inside some doors I have hidden empty crates and some zombies.

I'm considering making the second outer layer of walls (so the outside and level deeper squares of my base can be used for spikes or any other defence I consider using) to level 3. Good video again!

Since watching your videos and a few other people's my grinding has been more efficiencent, was thinking of fixing up my base since it's becoming increasing packed, esp that I've been a pack rack saving all my near destroyed gear with hopes of the repair bench and gun bench to rejuvenate them or get parts. #gimmesomeguns #givemesomeguns. I haven't been using to many tricks though I probably should would save me a lot more equipment anyway thanks for the hard work and sharing your discoveries much appreciated. Hi mate. Once again, fantastic video. Based on the information that you have provided and your strategy, I'm currently designing a base and will be able to provide a floor plan for you to attach to this video or others if you so choose. Because I don't use any mods, and I'm trying to design a base with room for all buildings available (plus a few extras for are the official release), I need a little help, but really only with regard to dimensions. For example, I believe the gunsmith bench takes up a 2 x 2 space while under construction, but after you are done is it 1 x 2 or still 2 x 2? Also if you are able to help, once a Vehicle is built, will that space in your home become available, or does the ATV/Heli/Chopper/Zombie Truck sit there forever? I also need dimensions on the heli and zombie truck if you're able, please. I've watched your video about half a dozen times and I believe you will be very happy with the final product. You're great wall strategy and your floor plan advice is by far the best on the net at the moment that I can see, and I've looked at hundreds and hundreds of images and probably over 50 videos at least, and I've only been playing this game since about 10 days before 1.5.7. :) Currently approaching L80 (no hacks, no coining). If you're able to provide me with information for what I requested above, thanks heaps.

Here's an idea when multiplayer, although ffs expensive make a home of let's say 1 block (1x1) surround them with 4 walls and do that for every block of your house, although it's crappy expensive and ugly it still works. Think of it. To bust all the way to the middle (where you have all the good stuff) they would have to bust the same amount of blocks as walls to get to the chest. And if you can block them with tables, chests etc... they would have to go around causing more pain. Also BUILD THE MAX AMOUNT OF BOXES, CHESTS AND TRUNKS and SPREAD your resources evenly, this will make them break even more walls etc.... Also try contain random mobs that Spawn in your home so that when they player breaks the wall they will meet a nifty surprise as most people wounding bring weapons to save space. YOU WILL NOT TOUCH MY RESOURCES

Blame Lag i did that, they have to waste a tooooooon of iron hatchets, i blocked every chest n shit, and i also put my guns in the most inner room, because they will probably run out of iron hatchets before they reach my guns.

You can't sorry. That was because I mixed videos. You will always spawn at your welcome mat. Just change your welcome mat since it no longer spawns the horde.

best building with many floors without walls on that u can keep all benches but to keep resources in small but upgrade house in near floors and dont keep resoruce in benches etc. while exiting the game

If you build the Great Wall how do you use vehicles, I only have the motorcycle at the moment but to use it I have to hop on it and drive it outside the base; or am I doing it all wrong?

Ok, so I have to say I love your base design, however, I am torn between another one I have seen. This other doesn't leave room for many booby traps, BUT they will need to spend a wealth of resources to get to another useful. Too booby trap or not to booby trap? I'm trying to get a few base build schematics together to choose from

The great wall doesnt work for the horde anymore. the horde destroys most of my walls rather than just only one wall. Do you have any base design ideas? I dont have the resources and time to upgrade all my outer walls.

I'd recommend still outer wall lvl 1 (for Raiders) and secondary wall lvl 3 (for horde).
