Actually lots of brands don't recommend using alcohol or any other chemicals on visors, just a damp towel with a neutral hand soap, better if the bugs are "fresh" . Still the visor won't crack, it's extremely flexible and hard to break even in you stomp in it 😅

Curiously waiting for a polishing of a bike, im guessing the helmet is painted and mostly on bikes there are stickers and decals, and i havent seen a polishing of a bike before, hope you will make a video about that! Big fan of Gyeon, Stef and Sabina! Although just 1 thing, I follow Stefs and Sabinas company, probably many of us do, Im pretty sure that Sabina knows how Quickview works, it feels a bit odd that she works in one of the best detailling studios in the Netherlands but ‘gets shown’ how quickview works… I get that its for the purpose of the video, but i guess it still feels a bit odd Really looking forward to more videos! Keep it going 💪

Hi, nice tutorial. One question, a lot of helmets, mine included, have a matte or semi gloss finish, what is the best way to clean them without making the finish shiny?

Good question. Of course no machine polishing will be possible but using Q²M Bug&Grime, Q²M Prep and then Q²Cancoat Evo or Q²Matte Evo is the way to go. Regards, Y.

You cannot CRACK THE the visor?! What nonsense is this. The visors on all (approved/rated) helmets are near "bullet proof". This is the reason they chose a polycarbonate! I am not so sure that this AGV would like what is suggested here (being that the Pista's visor is NOT made of a acrylic material). They are supposed to prevent stones and what not from entering the face part of the helmet at 250km/h. The reason why you would leave the visor attached while cleaning is that, on some helmets (HJC for example) come with a "pinlock" system as standard. The membrane on the inside of the Pinlock is non scratch resistant meaning that, it gets ruined fairly easily when touching it. The Pista replica shown here does come with this feature so, i was surprised (to say the least) to hear this was the reason . Another reason to leave it on is, so you can apply equal pressure over the visor this way while cleaning but, you don't really have to apply any at all. As shown here, let the microfibre towel soak on the shield and whipe over afterwards. No pressure needed.
