I am so glad I found this!!! I am not sure of the fit. Women Street Size 9 (medium width generally) My width around widest part is 8 7/8" and length of foot on longest foot 10 3/16" Riedell Chart 8.5 I purchased the Riedell Boost Men's D Width Mens 8/Ladies 9 Based on this video I have a feeling I should have gone down a size due to the no half sizes. I'll already called customer service with little help. :( So I have an expensive purchase that I am unsure of unless I get the smaller size to try and return.

Hi Swmstress H., based on those measurements, you should be good. The boot should not be super tight, but also not super loose. If you get the skates and they are too big, our returns process is pretty simple.

So after i contacted Riedell, then Skate Nation again, Skate Nation said they could send me a shipping label and they could have Riedell repair the right boot. They wanted me to send my 900 pair of skates to them so they could take off the boot with bad mount holes in it and send it to Riedell for boot repair. LOL. I wonder how they would manage remounting a repaired warped boot. How many holes would be in the boot ? I guess that would not affect my performance either ? I mean, if the boot is mounted asymmetrically because of a defective boot, how can ????? You get it.

I just got a some custom made Riedell 911's but I feel the length is too long. I'm a 8 1/2 women's, so I ordered 7 1/2 men's. The width feels fine because I have wider than normal foot but what do I do about the length. Do I send them back? Do I get some kind of ankle cushion to push my toes up further in the boot?

I have riedell roller derby skates. I got them prior to pregnancy. My foot is wider now as a result and my skates hurt (like my feet are in a vice). Do I have to buy new skates or is there a way to stretch them? They are good skates and have plenty more time before they need to be replaced.

Hi Suzanne. Feet change all the time, so you are not the only one this has happened to. One thing you could do is take them to a local shoe repair shop. They usually have some tools that can help with stretching the boots slightly. You could also try to heat up the boots to try and remold them to your feet. He might have some additional ideas for how you could go about adjusting your skates to fit your feet better. Thank you.

i order a pair of OGs last year from the rink here in ohio and they never told me about the different width sizes they just asked for my skate size that i wanted and that was it since i got my skates i feel like they are to narrow..the size is fine but the width isnt and it still feels like havent broke them in and i have tried different insoles and conditioners...now i ran across this video i feel like i got cheated out of my money

All depends on type of boots you purchased ..I bought my first pair that were not that great of Quality cause it was cheaper ..the better priced boot with higher quality leather and broke in better ..

Yeah, I have noticed how roller skate rink pro shops offer crappy customer service. It is because they are multiple taking and don’t have time to give the proper attention/service. Consider selling them and buy directly from Riedell.🌟

Well, i can tell you it is hard to fit a boot properly when the right boot is deformed. I ordered a pair of 595 boots from Skate Nation on a pair of Power-Trac plates. The right boot is so deformed that it was mounted asymmetrically. Skate Nation said it would not affect my performance so they could not refund or exchange.

I paid about 300 dollars for the boots that are not equal to one another as the cut and sew and tension on the boots and skates. If Riedell sends this to me mounted by Skate Nation then I am here to call out and say hey there is a problem here.

Video should be called. "How to get a second mortgage on your house for custom boots" Because that's what you need. I get Riedell is trying to be helpful but people are going to have to get what's available and make them work for the time being.

So like i told Skate Nation, I am glad i am the person who got cheated and sent a defective boot and defective mount instead of a 13 year old child after saving for two years to buy the pair of skates.

So sad because they sent me a pair of bad skates and it is so so so so sad i am just SAD. And the sad makes me angry. On really, confused is the word i am. Why would people give me a bad pair of boots and mount them bad and send them to me. It is so sad. So sad i cannot function really.
