Hi everyone love all the useful information. Castrated male 2 year old goat all of the sudden head ramming 2 of the other males. No horns thankfully. When the females (2) go into heat. 😮

@@angkeats3685 did they get their pecking order established and work it all out or is he still butting heads?

the front teeth are sharp too got a few scars lol I never dehorned my goats so one was able to tell the age more or less on the horn rings and one could even guess how many times they kidded when the closer rings

@@goatfarmmb that’s fascinating about knowing how many times they kidded by their horns!

Not about goats but … your hair is stunning can you share your routine? Also a line of goats milk hair products would be wonderful !!! Just an idea 😊

@@amylamphere7232 I do use all natural shampoo and conditioner and after my hair is dry I wrap it around a a sock type thing to make the curls. I’ve been doing that for several years, so my hair is pretty trained to the curls. :) Thank you for saying it! And we’ve started making goat milk soap and have ideas for hair and lotions ❤️

here is a question for you. How do you clabber goats milk without getting strong nasty flavor for use in cooking?

@@Sunhoneysage I bet it would depend on what they are eating, how their milk tastes in general and how fast you can clabber it

I cannot log in, and am still waiting for my binder. They said in email to log in to see tracking and if I can't log in, how can I do that? Your comment isn't giving me much hope. 😒

I’m working through getting them all packaged, labeled and shipped. I ordered books at the beginning of may and they took weeks longer to print than normal. So I’ve been on pins and needles waiting for the order. They came last night. And I got labels printed now and will get them out!

Is vinegar and water a good maintenance for parasites?
@DelcifromALifeofHeritageАй бұрын
@@stevechristian-ft4zj it may help buffer some but it depends on what parasites you’re dealing with and to not let them get out of control.

Hi there Delci! I bought your Goat binder and I am needing to know about mites? I have two does and I used cylence on one doe but don't want to treat my nursing doe who has two kids unless it is ok. Can you share a little with me about this. Not a veterinarian and all that.Also I need to know about the milk, can I drink it while does are being treated or is there a wait? Any help will help.
@DelcifromALifeofHeritage6 ай бұрын
Hey there! If you’re dealing with mites and not lice, you’ll actually give an ivermectin shot SQ and then again in ten days. Pine shavings are the best option for bedding. The mites breed in hay and straw. The kids can continue to nurse.
@glorytogodhomestead34956 ай бұрын
@@DelcifromALifeofHeritage what would be the best way for me to diagnose to be absolutely sure for mites and lice? Really appreciate your response.

Anybody having trouble logging in to the online goat binder stuff? It will not allow me to log in no matter what I try. I even tried to get a new log in through the "forgot password" link, even the new one doesn't work. Can anybody comment and let me know if they had the same issue or if they were actually able to log in? I am really hoping I wasn't scammed...
