Toxoids and Anti-Toxins for Goats and Why YOU Need to Know!

The last time I looked which was a couple weeks ago you count get the anti toxin it was on “back order” everywhere I really needed it for a baby I had. But so far he has made it without the anti toxin and the antibiotic took care of the joint ill he had.

They don't have C D and T vaccine in Canada. Pretty much all the problems I have with my goats are from heavy parasite loads not treated soon enough, or low quality feed, or not enough feed. Thanks Delci .

Oh, interesting you don’t have CDT available. I didn’t know that. Yes, worms are usually the problem and one to really understand and get figured out. The hay has been an up and down situation here too with the drought a couple years ago!

What I have used when my goats started coughing is echinacea with goldenseal ( if not pregnant). I once had to use plane echonachia without goldenseal for my pregnant goat (Goldenseal shouldn't be used on anyone pregnant). I just put a few drops in their grain and cough was gone.
