Thank you for this. Americans (me) take their lungs and prana for granted. The lungs are the gateway to very much. I do stand up exercise. I stand, pushing up small dumbell weights, and inhaling deeply through nose.\ Then I sit, blowing the air out forcefully using the diaphragm power. Farmer Brown exercise for powerful diaphragm and good pelvic tone: 1. Stand straight up correctly. 2. Force every last ounce of air from the lungs and then hold this diaphragm condition. 3. Powerfully clench all of the pelvic muscles, front, back, and lower, including rectum. 4. Hold for 5 seconds minimum. 5. Inhale slowly and deeply. This will tone everything down there !

Does this help with Small airway disease? I was feeling breathless for the last couple of months when in crowded spaces and got tired easily. I did my pulmonary function test and realized that im operating on 85% lung capacity. Though Im not a chain smoker, ive been smoking around 2-3 cigarettes every week(not everyday). To all other people who have been smoking, stop as soon as you can. Im hoping that this yoga routine helps.
