you can develop any model but you have to support it in your review of the literature.

Actually, there are no set criteria to decide the number of mediators or moderators in a research model, but you can decide it based on the importance of these variables in a model. Moreover, it also depends on how you justify so many variables in a model. Probably if you have many variables, it is advisable to have more than one research paper. don't go for overdoing in just one paper. Hope this answers your question.

I have developed a model my supervisor has approved it but i don't know that how a person can become a 100% sure that my research model is right .... That it doesn't have any loopholes ... Cause I am afraid of failure
