How to develop Palm OS applications with a modern Linux toolchain in 2025

Thanks to the wonderful article found here (palm2000.com/a..., it's possible to compile Palm OS applications with a modern, functional Linux toolchain even today! It took me almost no time to download and set up this toolchain from the website link. All it requires is gcc for the Palm m68k target and the resource handler PilRC, recently updated by Dmitry Grinberg. In this demo I compile the sample program modified to show I compiled it on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. In the future I plan to use this toolchain to write Kenbak and CARDIAC emulators for Palm OS.

Great video, it really makes you want to program something for Palm OS again - if only there were enough time. ;-) So, thanks for this trip into the world of Palm OS programming in a modern Ubuntu 24.04 environment.
