HOW TO | Dewinterize and Commission Your Boat

On today's episode I show you how to de-winterize and commission an inboard outboard boat for the season. This procedure also works for inboard, outboard, and sailboats with engines. The boat used in the video is a 2001 Monterey Montiva 190 with a 5.0L Mercruiser V8 paired to a Alpha One Gen 2 sterndrive. Followed these instructions for my '74 inline-6 mercruiser 165 hp, 20 ft. Reinell cabin cruiser. (I just purchased it already winterized in the late fall). I'm very happy with the results, it runs great and cruises at close to 40

I just purchased a 1988 Sea Ray 250 Cuddy Cabin and working on some restoration myself and have a few questions: - What can I replace the Monkey Fur interior cabin with? - I tried the SeaRay site for manuals and electrical diagrams and they don’t have it, eBay either. Any ideas? - The panel has these aluminum Flash Gorden like switches, are those ok or should I replace? - How difficult would it be to add an auto anchor system to front? - The wood doors and hatches after I sanded the gunk off has some serious scratched, should I replace? Paint?

Gotta admit that prop is def rough. Id be replacing the hydraulic lines on that gen 2 myself and i would loose my mind looking at that corroded outdrive. Id be sanding her down and doing a good repaint. Ive always hated black basic bitch outdrives. Silver is better but still boring. I get so many comments on my color changing outdrive. Its white but has a pearl flake that has about every color of the rainbow. Definitely not aomething your gonna see very often but i love being different. Course I have a 1978 glastron ssv175 that the boat was orange and white now its dark forest green with a ton of diamond flake and the engine which was originally a mercury 115hp tower of power they call it. Now its running one of the second gen 7marine 557hp outboards with the cadillac v8 in her. Way more then the boat needs but it handles the extra weight very well. But yeah id say that entire outdrive needs a good clean repaint and overall restoration

Owner said they wanted one more year out of it or bust. I think they’re replacing it entirely this year.

How is the fox leveling kit u installed on the f-150? Is it rusting or anything and how is the ride compared to stock, how bad is the cv axel angle

Leveling kit is doing great! No issues alt all. Angles are fine and ride is smooth. Fox does a great job with their kits.
