I'm new to the mini I just bought 1.6 supercharged 6spd how do you identify the trans type in the mini so I can get specs on fluids cause I wanna drain the old and put new in it

My new rod bearings will be here on Tuesday but it will probably be a few weeks before i can get to it. I’m currently working on videos about methanol injection in my R56

Have any metal shavings in the oil filter as well?

There wasn’t any, but i did find them in the oil pan when i replaced the bearings

What if the knock is incredibly mild? Really hard to hear in neutral with no load. Will I still feel a screw driver move?

If you can’t detect any movement then it’s probably not your rod bearings causing the knock

With rod knock, will the journals still be good? how long was the car running with a rod knock? I'll be trying this method and I'm worried it is the rod bearings since I live in an apartment I can't really just rip the engine apart and dive into this
