@@matejcevnik7362 No. Something like being able to combine Bea's fuzz pedal with this amp in one window. Would also love to use a whammy pedal with the NTS. Just a couple of examples. Combine all the sims into one place like Line 6 or Amp Hub.

For the people wishing there was a Tube Screamer or Distortion pedal, I think you can get the results you're looking for by tweaking the two IQs in there. They are pretty drastic - after that you can play around with IRs or import your own. Special mention to the Delay-2 and Reverb stomp boxes - they are pretty unique compared to all other Neural DSP similar pedals. TBH, at first this felt like it was mostly going to be a one trick pony Plug-in to emulate Rage... But with the previously mentioned features - you get a really in depth JCM-800 50 Watts with extra goodies on the side. I myself got it and kept it because I really wanted a good JCM in my arsenal

I use Petrucci and Tim Henson for a lot of stuff thats not typical for them. What i'm kind of missing in Tom Morello is a Tube Screamer. Tom doesn't use one but it would open up the sounds you get from the JCM800.

No flanger, which is all over first RATM album. No MXR Power 50 overdrive. No Digitech XP 300. And one amp, because he uses one amp, OK. But you still want 120$ for this package. I think I'll pass. Call me when Neural DSP finally gets down to Archetype David Gilmour. For that I'll pay 150$ even, provided they do his Doppola rotary cabinets, his HIwatt amps and WEM cabs with Fane Crescendo speakers.

So other than the flanger, remember the Power 50 is basically taking his JCM and reducing it to an amp, and Tom uses the XP 300 as his wah. Heck, I bet Tom would probably say the Phaser takes the place of the flanger for him nowadays (and he only uses the phaser on Killing in the Name). That said, I do agree this seems closer to their $100 price point, which would put it in line with the Soldano and Mark IIC+ plugins. Also, it's a hard sell considering one of their most popular plugins already has an excellent JCM800. That said, I can see where someone would get this if they really want the whammy effect, but don't want to be stuck using a 5150 style amp like they would with Archetype Gojira.

@@pellevastano Sorry, sounds like a bunch of excuses for Neural DSP. I don't need reasons and excuses, I want as much useful stuff modeled as possible before I part with my money. And considering they offered only one amp, they should have compensated and invested in more modeled pedals, after all, Tom is known for using lots of crazy stuff, I didn't even mention his MERIS pedals, which would be nice to have in software, all in all, I've barely scratched the surface, to be honest. In the end, it comes down to whether people buy this or not. Neural DSP could make this a much more appealing product and not just a niche suite for Tom's fans. Instead they decided to go light. OK, it's their call. But not buying.

Much too thin sounding for a JCM for my taste. I'm a hot-rod Plexi (Arredondo) fan, but never liked any JCM's a lot. Even less low end than my original Silver Jubilee offered, and this one I never really liked, so I sold it. I also do not like the fx selection. But the cabinets sound nice. Unfortunately this alone does not convince me, If I do not like the amp tones themselves. Too "special" for me, I have a single Neural DSP plugin, which I really like, and this is the SLO-100, this one still sounds awesome to me, but all other ones are not really my taste. Maybe not bad, but for me they cannot compete with my real favorite amps and if i get better tones through a load box with the real amp, I do not need a worse sounding simulation. The fx section is not really usable for me and I already own some JCM based plugins, which convince me more, so this is nothing for me, sorry.

its the best neural plugin by far. the only one with a good cab section. it sounds spot on to a real JCM 800 while all the other neural plugins sound the same and have crappy cab sections

It's distressing when companies we've come to trust are caught pants down releasing silly things just to make a few bucks. Most of us will watch and listen, quickly realize the plug-in brings very little new to the table, if anything. We'll feel bad for Tom, a man with scruples that we'd all considered the least likely to get caught up in such a cash grab. But I also feel bad for the younger players who may not notice that subtle hand reaching into their wallet.

Why you think this is a cash grab? If you're a fan of Morello (RATM/Audioslave/etc) and you want a plugin version of his actual rig (the real head and cab used on his music), then this is a great plugin.. a fan will pay for the authentic rig modeled. I WISH there were a plugin like this for my favorite artists.. Thrice, Radiohead, John Mayer, etc. etc. Would be sick. Even if it overlapped with plugins that already exist. It's a niche thing, if it's not for you just move on. Not a big deal.
