You guys should try MONAT products! Sulphate & paraben free and free of harsh chemicals and silicones! The magnifying mousse is amazing and doesnt make your hair feel "crunchy". I actually use it on my straight hair to hold curls without using hairspray but its amazing on my daughters curly hair! Let me know if you would like to try! Oh...AND it promotes growth!! Im obsessed!

Sulfates are normally *only* in shampoo (except when it's a Lush product), so putting "sulfate-free" on a leave-in product is a gimmick. I hate when companies do that and think we're idiots. ;)

lol right?!?!? i totally agree hahah this cracked me up. the heat protectant i talk about in the video is silicone free too tho, just so ya know :D thanks for watching marleen! love ya babe

Marleen G. Some people don't know that so adding "sulfate free" to a product can be helpful. All some people say is "but sulfate free products," but don't say what sulfates are. Similar with gluten.lol

You seriously just sold me on this diffuser. I've had super loose badly behaved waves for years that I normally blow out, and then I found a picture of myself at 11 with really loose curls and I asked my mom how she did my hair like that and she casually was all "washed it" Apparently all my years of dying and straightening and not using the right products wrecked my hair, and I've been bingeing your videos for advice on how to get it back to good. I know it's gonna take time, but I'm super excited about it and I need this diffuser.

One of the ways that I'm sure this "hand" hairdryer is meant to be used also, or at least it's one way that I personally would use it for, is by putting it under the hair just up against and all around your scalp/head, as if it were your own hand except it's the dryer hand. I really think that is a great way to add volume on top of the head. When I dry my curly hair, when I'm not running out and having to let it air dry, the last part of the hair to dry is that hair right on your scalp/head. This dryer would be perfect to get that part of your hair dried lickedy split. I think for that reason, I will go out and invest in one of these hand hair-drying attachments. Pretty cool! Thanks for the idea. Great product invention! xo

I have very thick course 3b/c hair and LOVE the DevaFuser! I have been using it for about a year now. I start by slipping the Fuser under my hair next to my scalp to help the drying process by my scalp since that is the most difficult area to dry. Then I move on to dry the way shown in this video. I also have to turn my head upside down and do the same next to my scalp there if I ever want to get the top of my hair to dry and get some volume there due to the weight of my very thick/course hair. Thanks for all of your tutorials and being so caring and fun.

When I was little, like from a baby till around 5, I had very curly hair, and then it relaxed and was just barely wavy, almost straight, and no frizz, until puberty, when it became the texture it is now- a lot like my mother's, and also much like yours, however it was never *good* looking. It was never defined and there was always tons of frizz, dryness, breaking (because it was so tangly!) and ever since I started using devacurl products like 2 weeks ago it has been like my hair had a rebirth. Seriously, my hair was as curly as yours when i started using the products. I always dreamed of it being that curly while still looking healthy. Seriously Devacurl is the shit.

My hair looks straight and acts wavy. If I let it air dry without brushing, it looks straight from the front and wavy from the back. As soon as I brush it, the waves disappear and turn into frizz Dx My hair always looks unkempt. Will this dryer help me maintain my waves?

Can products make your hair curly? I thought I had curly hair but my sister keeps saying I only have curls because I don’t take care of my hair and put products in my hair that curls it. I always thought that was not possible. Maybe only encouraging products. I’m really confused.
@janna78436 жыл бұрын
You probably have a wavy hair, if your hair curls just by scrunching with conditioner in the shower there is 100% you have a textured hair. Straight haired people can't curl their hair without using heat
@clairbanker90976 жыл бұрын
Curly hair products will not make your hair curly, if your hair curls from scrunching and using curly hair products you have curly or wavy hair
@morganatkinson14475 жыл бұрын
Your hair reminds me of mine when it’s wet but it never looks that good once it’s dried. If I had the right tools I feel like that would be different. I want to try the attachment but I read bad reviews on amazon for the band snapping on larger width hair dryers (mine) buuuut... I think I’m going to get it anyways and just duck tape it if the band breaks 😂 the diffuser is the important part who cares how it’s secured (not me!) I personally can’t afford the deva curl products, wish I could. But I use “Garnier whole blends smoothing leave in conditioner with coconut oil and cocoa butter” and LOOOVE it! Leaves me hair smooth and super soft, doesn’t make your hair greasy even though I use through my roots down to my tips. Leaves me with soft wavy curls air dried, just not the body I would like to have (which I feel this diffuser would give me. I also use (not as cheap but worth it, it lasts a long time) the redken curvaceous full swirl cream. Two pumps is all I need for my long hair. It defines the curls more and doesn’t leave your hair crunchy, it is a little sticky when applying but dries soft and smooth and I love the definition it gives my hair! Thank for doing this review! Your hair is gorgeous and I can’t wait to try the attachment and hopefully get the body I’m looking for to complete my hair routine

Monica Redden You can still use similar products and learn things from her! I recently fell in love with DevaCurl products. I too have a tighter curl than she does, so instead of the wavy hair products I use their ultra defining gel when my hair is soaking wet, and then defuse and shake my hair out afterwards to get rid of the hard "cast" that the product creates (totally normal, it's what sets your curls). My hair is a mix between hers and a 3A hair type, which is curly hair.
