Great vid! Do you have to wait for the application to dry before dipping again? Does the top coat dry pretty quickly? Also, have you experienced nail growth using this?

All great questions. So I dip one hand then the next hand before I apply the base again for a second layer. For me, this gives the powder time to absorb all the base liquid. The NB top coat does not dry fast. Not at all. When I used it, I would always put my hand in front of a fan to speed up the drying time. As far as nail growth goes, I don’t have that issue. My nails grow quickly regardless of what I do but I have read posts and comments from other dippers saying this does indeed help their nails grow.

First off, I really enjoyed your video it was easy to understand. My question is, my nails are very thin and they split a lot so it's hard for me to grow them out. Does this make the nail strong, and do you think this would help my nails to grow out and not split?

I also struggle with thin nails that peel. For me, using nail boo itself is still a little damaging (everything seems to take a toll on my nails), but if I use Nail Guard (essentially sticker that you apply to the nail before your manicure), I end up with no nail damage, allowing my nails to grow longer! Plus taking the dip powder off is much easier this way. I still get a few weeks of wear out of my nails, even with the nail guard

Your videos are extremely helpful! I bought the nailboo system a few months ago and have been using your videos as a guide ever since. Do you normally use two coats of top coat (letting the first coat dry before applying the second)?

@@AloftAloft Thanks! I notice you use the Double Dip brand top coat in some of your videos. In your experience, which top coat do you think is best? I find the Nailboo top coat sometimes gets tacky and takes awhile to dry, and also can be streaky even after two coats. Appreciate your feedback :)

@@shabanabaksh8021 I like Double Dip, but I think the best brands I have tried so far are Lavender Violets and Beetles. Both of these dry super fast and I haven't experienced any contamination issues with either brand.

That is great! I am really happy to hear it... The black clips are for removal. They don't work all that great on nails but are good for removing dip from your toe nails if you decide to do a pedicure with dip. I've featured them in a removal video last year.

It will give you an added layer or layers of protection and make your nails stronger for everyday use and that will help them grow. But I can't say the product will strengthen your nails.

When you did your color. Did you base liquid then dip color powder. Then repeat both those steps OR did u use base liquid once.. then dip into the color powder your 2-3 times. Then that's it for the color step??? Im new pls let me know best way thx!

My steps are base, color, base, color, base, color, base, color… Now depending on the color and the design, I will use clear powder in place if the first color dip and also add a base, clear dip at the end. I also dip into the color 2x to make sure the powder fully absorbs the liquid before dusting off the excess powder and applying the next coat of base liquid. So my full process is base, clear, carve out cuticles, dust, base, color 2x, carve out cuticles, dust, base, color 2x, carve out cuticles, dust, base, color 2x, carve out cuticles, dust… if needed, base, clear, carve or cuticles, dust… if not, activator, file/buff, wipe off nails, activator, wipe with alcohol, let dry, top coat 2x I hope this helps. And don’t worry, 4 layers does not make your nails thick. Anything less than that is prone to chips and cracks as shown in my last video.
