How to Disable and Stop a Lexus IS200 Alarm from randomly going off

In this video i address a common problem with the IS200 car where the alarm will randomly sound at night for no reason.
The motion sensor within the interior light is removed.

You might like to mention you only need to pop off the transparent light cover to access - only found this out after trying to lever off the whole light fitting! But otherwise, very handy information. Thanks!!!

Thanks it worked!! I removed the dome fuse from the front on the car first to stop the alarm going off as that can be accessed quickly than removed the sensor afterwards

Does this also work on a 2006 Lexus IS 250? Mines been randomly going off and after it does I try locking it but it makes a loud noise when I press the lock button on my remote
