Can I record the tv shows on the firestick provided by Prime? I normally record shows on the Spectrum cable DVR and then fast foward the commercials. I'm NOT watching tv shows with commercials on firestick if I can't do that.

The "Opera" browser has a native ad blocker. I think it's on by default after installing the browser. So far, it blocks u toob ads. Not sure why u toob hasn't coded around it, or for how much longer this will work. Maybe because Opera browser is only used by 0.001% of connected devices, so they didn't feel it's worth "fixing." U toobing for a few hours this morning on my smart phone using Opera (NOT the u toob app), and not a single ad -- and casting to the Big Screen. Opera good on Chromebooks and Windows too, fer sher.

There should be a advanced way to completely remove all ads by firmware so skip any commercials 😂 not just this feature. Like downloaded the program saved on a hard drive or Nas server

Vizio dumps obnoxious ads on you and under some conditions like no mouse or keyboard, KZbin will do the same. It may have to do with the fact you can hardly sign in.
