I bought HPTuners specifically for this reason… The dealership wouldn’t do it for me even though passlock has been plaguing Chevys for years… They would rather me spend a small fortune to get it “diagnosed & repaired”…👎🏼

Having the same issue with my S10. Was it worth it? I also ask because in the longer term I’d like to 5.3 swap, and I’m assuming I can tune it with HPT aswell

@@danielboekweg2919 On GEN 3 stuff no but on Gen 4-5 there is also a starter disable/enable you need to check so the starter works.
