How To Disable The Tire Pressure Monitoring System TPMS For Chrysler Crossfire

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Doing this procedure is at your own risk!!! and you'll have to manually check your tires for air pressure (not a big deal for me as I have been doing this for years).
The reason why I disabled the tire sensor is because you need to go to a specialized dealer with a DRB 3 scanner tool and a relearn magnet (which many do not have) AND no one knows how to work on a Chrysler Crossfire which is really a Mercedes in disguise. Also its costly 💲💲💲 just to reprogram a code, and a regular or even a really fancy scan tool does not work.
You can also put the wire back in its original position if you decide to do so in the future.

Hi. Do you know where I can find this wire on a Chrysler 300c 2005? The non facelift 300c has a software bug - I dont use TPMS sensors but when a 300c friend is in my near for a short time I can see his tire pressure in my dashboard. After a few miles it goes away. But when an another 300c is for a longer time in my near my car will dont forget his sensors and I have that yellow light and error warnings with sound forever. Then I must go to the dealer and they flash my TPMS module with the same firmware version and the car checks that I dont have TPMS sensors. Then I must hope dont stand to long in the near of an another 300c. So it was nice when I can disable the system. The facelift 300c from 2008 dont have this software problem and check when no TPMS sensors in use and shut off the error light and messages after a few miles.

I'm not sure where it is. I would have to check the manual. But this seems very odd and it sounds more like a programming issue. Also disabling a wire in a Chrysler 300 is different than this chrysler crossfire. Also disabling or pulling a wire in the 300 may disable a bunch of other things. In this crossfire its only tied to the tpms but in other cars the wire may be linked to other things including saftey systems.

This does work, but a word of warning… doing so on a roadster will also cause an error in the top control module which will prevent raising or lowering the top under power.

That is not true. This was done on a Roadster, and the convertible top opens and closes with no problems. Perhaps you pulled a different wire or have a different problem. Check the code reader.
